Drama, lots of unnecessary drama and blame throwing. The guilty parties are obvious to outsiders. I have had three family members that have worked there before and after the ownership change. Long term. The first one tried to go to college and they were unsupportive and kept scheduling her when they knew she had classes and threatened to fire her. She was a manager. She had a kid to support. She had to withdraw from college. The second one had been working there since 2012, and also tried to go to college. He has succeeded. But because he stood his ground and wouldn't let them schedule him during class, they rudely said he was unreliable, even though he covered a full time shift the whole time he was in school, and was the only one who knows how to fix all the machines and closes at nights quickly and properly, saving them time and payroll. He finally got fed up and quit. The third one doesn't like drama and went and got another job so he could quit because of the stupidest nonsense going on. The only thing still the same is the...
Read moreI was in this a.m. and a nice young man came over to help me at the front counter. Everything was great until a coworker ( Management, couldn't see a name tag)came over n absolutely created a problem when there wasn't one to begin with. The cash drawer wasn't prepared as it should be to start a shift. Absolutely no nickels and just a few pennies. He wasn't exactly sure how to give my change back. I was attempting to ask him how much change was due (because, I had change n my thought was, I'll just give him the change! Not an issue). She interrupted me and preceded to over take the cash drawer and gave me the change I was due. He apologized and it wasn't his fault!! He didn't do one thing incorrectly. I felt awful for him because I know he is in the beginning of his shift. She was absolutely rude, disrespectful to myself and to him. She then took cash out to get change from the safe! Well maybe if that portion of her duties was done correctly. This never would...
Read moreMcDonald's are ubiquitous, of course. One is pretty much like another. I go there because they are usually the first to open in the mornings. It's the little things that separate them and that's just what happened on Saturday. At 5:50 am I was greeted by a happy smile from a gal working both drive thru and front counter. I ordered breakfast and a coffee with a couple of cream. When she delivered the coffee she said the extra cream on the side was because the coffee seemed rather "dark" today. It wasn't until later that I realized how thoughtful she was and I'd like to thank her now. Some times the little things can really make a difference ! Thank You (She was right, the third cream was just what the...
