I had to drive 30 mins there and back and I did a call in order for 4 adults and when I got there to pick it up, first of all the cashier told me it was $82.06 so I gave her $102.06 and she looked lost and said is the extra for our tip and then when she handed me my bags I told her that can’t be all my food and please check to make sure and she said yes it’s all there. Well I knew it wasn’t because I ordered a large tea and she hadn’t given it to me yet and then I noticed my bags of chips were missing so I had to ask for those plus my tea. So once I get home and ready to feed my family I saw where the shrimp and the salads from my husbands and sons plates were missing so I called and the girl said I can take your name and what items your missing and you can get them next time. I told her that wasn’t doing me any good as far as feeding my family their dinner that night and that I had no choice but to come back 30 mins round trip to get it. Once I drive back to Crawford and ask to see the manager some young girl comes over and I tell her we need to talk in private because of the other customers being nearby so I tell her my story of the poor service I got and she says she’s checked with the kitchen and they said the salads were made and I told her well I didn’t get them and I sure wouldn’t have driven 30 more minutes if they were in my bag. Then she said we will get you your food and I asked her if she intended to compensate me for my time and gas to drive back up there and she said NO I CAN’T GIVE YOU FREE FOOD. My feelings is that she could’ve at least offered me a free tea or dessert since I had driven an hour total to get our dinner and paid $82 for it! They had young children running the place that couldn’t even count change and had very poor management skills. I had been going there at least 3 to 4 times a month up until then. I told the girl that night that I wouldn’t be back and I won’t be back! And I will tell all my friends about my...

I had the pleasure of stopping in at this lovely restaurant on a Friday afternoon and was more than pleasantly surprised at what I walked away with.
I purchased 2 Brisket sandwiches, even had them diced it, as I've never had anyone offer that option before and it was fantastic!
I ate the Brisket while I was there and admired the old Chevy Dealership sign and all the other cool features the BBQ joint kept from the history of the building in which in now resides (for those who don't know, it was formerly a Chevy Dealership).
In addition to my brisket, I also got 2 lbs of pulled pork bbq and a quart of cole slaw to go and I am so glad I did! I'm a picky slaw person and I like the ratio of their mayo to vinegar, which made the finely chopped cabbage extremely palatable.
The pulled pork wasn't fatty in the slightest, that will disappoint some, but it did not lack in moisture at all. It was a treat getting to eat it for the next two days and I honestly cannot...
Read moreI rated G-Brand 5 stars 4 years ago... but that was 4 years ago. Today I have to give it 3 at best, really should be 2.5. Recently my wife, her sister, and I went to GBrand. I had the regular barbecue plate which includes 2 sides. I chose the cole slaw and brunswick stew. They used to serve the stew in a little bowl and even give refills; now they just put it in one of the compartments of a 3-compartment plate. There was, if I'm being generous, maybe 1 tablespoon of stew on the plate. The slaw was bland and tasteless, and dripping in mayonnaise. The barbecue, however, was good. The service was fair; we got our food but the server never came back again. The thing that really got me though was that the bill was $80.00. No, I'm not kidding. $80.00 for barbecue for 3 people. (Of course that included the 1 Tbsp of stew.) We won't be back anytime soon. The only reason they have such good reviews is that they are one of only 2 sit-down restaurants...
