It was the most terrible seafood I've had in years, and I'm not picky, but this wasn't very pleasant. Then, I called, trying to break it to them nicely, that it was terrible and greasy and even had rotten mushrooms, and the lady kept saying she packaged my food, basically like I was lying. She agreed to refund anything that hadn't been eaten, but that wasn't what I was after in the first place. You don't charge someone 80$ a, then when they call and nicely break it to you, that it was all pretty much so greasy you can't eat it just because you packaged it doesn't mean much if you aren't eating it. I didn't want a refund. Just stop serving terrible food. Then, when someone tells you it's lousy, maybe listen, especially if they aren't after a refund must have been pretty bad now. Instead of relaxing for Father's Day, I have to cook. SMH, my son will eat almost anything, and even he said Daddy, this is horrible I was in shock. He is like a trash can. He couldn't stomach it. maybe the band and oysters are good, but that was the worst 78$ I ever spent, so bad I didn't even want it back. Packaging Something doesn't make...

It’s so hard to find proper old Florida restaurants these days. Most cater to tourists with expensive and mediocre food. Not this place.

Pull up and you will find a patio full of chairs that have outlasted their useful life. Walk in the door and you will see dollars plastered everywhere. It’s grimy, the bathroom reeks of sulphur, and the bartender openly discusses his issues with his probation officer. But this is what makes this place great. It has a lived in feel, serves fresh food (even the coleslaw), and the service is exceptional provided you’re not looking to be catered to constantly like a 5 year old even though you’re 50.

The food did not fall off a Sysco truck into the frier here. I have no idea where they source from, but the fried fish is ridiculously good. Same for the shrimp and oysters. Chef Mike definitely does not work here.

It’s the definition of a hole in the wall, and does not disappoint if you’re willing to give it a shot. If you want a fancier setting and mediocre food, head to...

We ordered TWO plain as day cheeseburgers. We had places to be in 2 hours so given my timeline and assuming how a restaurant usually and SHOULD take for two cheeseburgers, I figured I’d be able to get my food eat and leave with no problems. I am usually a pretty patient person so after waiting 30 minutes I am assuming it’d be out soon. At about 45 minutes we asked how long it would be because we have a time frame. The guy tells us he’d go check on it for us. After about 15 more minutes and me watching people seated AFTER us get their food and us have absolutely nothing in front us we went and decided to pay for our drinks and left and the guy had not a word of apology or anything to say to us. I just feel like my entire experience here was a complete and total waste of time. Usually, you go to a restaurant and come out with a full stomach so why did I wait an hour to leave with an empty stomach? One of the worst experiences I...

Such a great spot! I drove by here on my way to St.Marks National Park and knew I had to return for dinner and it was delicious! The local caught, house smoked Mullet (fish) was excellent, the home made hush puppies were devine, and the beer battered mushrooms were exquisite. They had The Proof craft brews available and the Mango Wit paired perfectly with supper. I got a Gumbo to go and it smelled perfect and the little taste I had ramped up my excitement to have it as a meal during my travels. The staff were all super friendly and the other guests were as well. Do not miss this wonderful local spot!

Oh my goodness. How many times I passed this place after fishing the St. Marks and never once stopped in. I have heard good things so my wife and I made a go of it and it was WELL worth it! My wife had the Smoked Mullet and I had the Shrimp Wrapped in Bacon. We also split some hush puppies and some Smoked Mullet Dip and everything was absolutely delicious. The establishment is definitely a locals hangout and the beer is nice and cold. Looking for someone different to eat, check out Ouzts’ Too. You won’t be disappointed!!!
