Dogged State Distilling Co. Diner — Restaurant in Crewe

Waited a hour just for breakfast. Watched other people come in, sit, order, eat & leave while we still sat & waited for our food. Breakfast menu is not very big, not but so much you can order on breakfast menu anyway. We had to ask someone in the back why our food was taking so long. Which I’m not a confrontational person at all & dislike having to complain about things. Found out our ticket order was some how skipped by mistake or lost. So had nothing to do with what we ordered. I will add that once they realized their mistake, they made it up to us really quickly. Their response to our complaint was professional & very polite. The lady who took our complaint apologized even though was not her fault personally. She offered our food for free, which we still insisted on wanting to pay, as the food was good & they fixed our issue right away. She explained there was students working and might be why that happened. I would definitely go back to this place again. Deserves a second chance for sure! Few mishaps yes but nothing serious. But I will note, they don’t have orange juice or hot chocolate, not a big deal, just thought it was odd. Last some music or something playing would be wonderful. So quiet in there! I had county ham, sausage, biscuit and gravy, home fries and bacon. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Relaxed and friendly atmosphere and customers.

They were very generous and put Bailey's in my coffee on request even though it was off the menu. County ham was straight -up delicious and the biscuit was great - light and fluffy and fresh! My wife said her pancakes were delicious.

We plan on making another stop even though we're hours away. This is my new go-to food stop on this route now.

As an addendum they've got hot coffee and orange and pineapple juice - I noticed in the past that other reviews had stated this was not the case; I think that information...

My family eats in here a lot... It's just like home here if I'm not cooking here at dogged state I'm at home cooking the same things I love it here everything is almost perfect we work hard too give people what they want I see a lot of good things about dogged state my boss Kim Watley is why this is what it is. And the other big bosses they make sure we have what you want so make sure you tell them what you want it's all about you here.. we are trying to get the bar open so come see us Friday and Saturday night we have food late I keep the kitchen open until 11 so open menu then bar...
