Goose Creek Pit & Pub — Restaurant in Crisfield

Went here with my wife and 5 year old child. It was a 54 minute drive from our home in DE. We've previously had terrific experiences at pit & pub in Selbyville. We decided it was a nice day and we'd try by the water. We got there and tables were self seating. Not like the other pit and pub. It was memorial day weekend so we were ok waiting to grab a table ourselves that only took us 15 minutes to grab a table. The rest of our time 35 minutes was waiting for wait staff to acknowledge us and get our drink order. In those 35 minutes we never got drinks nor did any wait staff greet us. There was a waitress who looked at us as she proceeded to have a 15 minute conversation with a table 2 spots away. Much to the dismay of my wife and the table Infront of us she kept her lengthy conversation going as our thirsty moths grew more and more parched. We looked around and ce to the realization most tables didn't have food on them half had drinks. This is a great place in the middle of nowhere. This place has the feel of a Tiki bar in a big resort town without the tourists. Tons of great locals, great service and awesome atmosphere. The food was excellent. The food did take a minute to come but we were at the bar near the kitchen so I saw the kitchen staff working feverishly. I normally don’t do a lot of reviews but after our visit today I feel like I need to let everyone know how great the staff is. My son has Autism & is limit verbal but that doesn’t stop him from communicating. Everytime we go there he becomes more & more comfortable ordering on his own. The staff is so patient with him.
