Riverside Tavern — Restaurant in Crivitz

We went Saturday night specifically because we were made aware of the shrimp (boiled and fried) all you can eat special they have on Saturdays (next to a prime rib specials others were raving about). We went around 6pm not wanting to wait and... Got pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as packed as it was on Friday for the fish fry (which was delicious too, but we waited an hour from ordering for our food...)! Our food was out after less than 10 minutes of ordering and both the boiled and fried shrimp were delicious! The cocktail sauce they serve goes amazing with both! We had some refills of both varieties and those came out hot and fast as well. A steal for under $18 per person!!! If you love shrimp, you better try it! Too bad I live 300 miles away or you'd have a Saturday night regular... 😁 Our servers were great on both nights, Friday and Saturday! Thank you for supplying all the refills for drinks...

We ordered their Saturday special (unlimited shrimp; boiled, breaded, or both), the cowboy burger, & the combo appetizer basket. The combo basket we would have liked to see more than just 2 mozzarella sticks, but otherwise it was really good. It had cheese curds, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and French fries. The cowboy burger was good, no complaints there. The shrimp was good we ordered the breaded shrimp, it came with soup/salad & choice of potato. The only issue we had was the shrimp sauce was solidified. We are already talking about our next visit & bringing family members with us as we enjoyed it. Our waitress was good, only minor complaint (can't really hold it against her as it got busy and she was the only one working the dinning room) she could have checked in with us about mid way through the meal to see if we needed anything. This place is terrible! We came here a few months ago to eat fish on a Friday and we left without ever getting served fish. We ordered and waited almost an hour before the waitress said they wouldn't be able to serve us that evening. They said they had just changed up kitchen operations so we were gracious and understanding as we could be. Decided to give them another try and just got the worst service and was told most of the menu wasn't available. Ordered mozzarella sticks that came out ice cold in the center and tasted soooo bad. I don't understand how you can mess that up? It's a terribly run business and I would go elsewhere around crivitz there's so many better places...
