Super awesome little charm hidden in a little neighborhood of Crosset, Arkansas. The first thing that I noticed when walking in was the amazing decor and artwork that filled the inside. I felt like we were sitting down to eat on the back porch of a swamp shack down in bayous of Louisiana. The second thing I noticed was how awesome the staff were. They were so personable and welcoming, definitely made us feel at home, especially the guy that I'm assuming owns it. I didn't catch his name, but he was so friendly. After ordering drinks, they unexpectedly brought us all samples of their chicken and dumplings and crawfish pie. That crawfish pie was so. freaking. amazing. It was basically their own version of chicken pot pie, but they used crawfish, cajun seasonings, and had cobbler crust mixed in with it. We don't live in the Crosset area, but that crawfish pie alone is worth a trip back. For my meal I ordered the classic size of their fried shrimp, and it was fantastic. I tried both of their remoulade and juke joint sauces, and while both were tasty, my favorite was the juke joint sauce because it was sweet and spicy. We enjoyed both their banana pudding and cheesecake for desert, and both were super tasty. While there were only a couple of patrons upon our arrival, they filled up quickly before we left. I'm super glad we decided to eat there. I can't wait to visit again when we're up that way. ...

The food has mouth watering, delightful presentations, wonderful prices and the BEST, hands down, quality food around in Crossett!!!! . I ordered #TheOutlaw inspired by Chase Outlaw the world champ in the PBR bull riding. A, not too thick, not too thin hamburger with bacon, cheese, BBQ sauce and jalapeΓ±os, if so desired and 2 to 3 onion rings placed on it to combine one heck of a ride, Outlaw Burger!! I ordered THE most awesome fried onion rings. These are cut to perfection, a little thicker than most (but spot on in my book) thick ole' fashioned crust that literally flakes off at just the right moment!! . Staff is friendly, helpful and ready to fill your refills or any other request you may have. . My granddaughter ATTACKED the bread basket when presented at the table. Cinnamon butter with a pleasurable amount of sweetness. Flower Pons of corn bread (love) and a good helping of small yeast rolls! . Mr. Chester is the sweetest, my granddaughter, as well as our family, LOVE the family that run this outstanding food Eatery. . Restrooms are clean, exceptional decorations and decorum throughout the restaurant is fun, inspiring and such a conversation starter, absolutely love positivity exuding from the establishment and staff!! . Β Β Β Read moreFirst time trying this restaurant. Pros: Atmosphere was eclectic which was great. Server was pleasant and staff was relatively friendly but a little too reserved for my taste. Overall service was good. Ordered hamburger steak (no gravy), rice and steamed green beans. Husband ordered chicken and dumplings, steamed green beans and mashed potatoes. The rolls were great! Had really good homestyle flavor. Came with the cinnamon honey butter. The rice was just plain white rice, but was good. Mashed potatoes were creamy but had homemade taste. The chicken in chicken and dumplings was shreaded but not too thin and it was a creamy sauce. Cons: Steamed green beans had no seasoning and some were still cold in the middle, chicken and dumplings had way too much salt and no other seasoning (pepper would have been nice) and if you have any sensitivity towards gluten do NOT order this dish, and the hamburger steak was over done, dry and no seasoning at all. Price was very high especially for what we got. Overall, was not bad but definitely not good enough...
