Taqueria Los Rios & Howdy Food Mart — Restaurant in Crowley

The next door app my Momma is in kept mentioning this place so here we are!

It's actually a convenience store with a pretty good little kitchen. There is a daily chalkboard special to the right when you walk in. Monday's was two hotdogs with fries and a drink. I'd just had a hot dog so decided to try the cheeseburger. I subbed tots for fries for an extra charge. My meal also came with a drink. My mom had the chicken finger basket and also subbed tots.

The burger was very good. A thin patty and the tots were perfectly cooked I didn't even have to say well done. The diet coke wasn't very good. Something with the settings on the fountain drink machine I suppose. The chicken fingers were tasty. Stephanie orders large chicken breasts and cuts them herself. They come with cream gravy and were also very good.

Service was friendly and there was plenty of parking.

Note - gas pumps are out of order and the chalkboard menu photo is out of date. They no longer serve catfish...

One of my favorite places for breakfast I'm sure their lunch is just as good I stopped here every morning and get me a steak egg and cheese and potato burrito it is so heavenly the people up there are very nice and kind and they always get your food out in a jiffy I hope they stay open for a long long time. Don't let the little mom and pop hole in the wall scare you away cuz the food is made fresh and from good...

Where to start?? Just opened back up and the lady in there is terrible and hateful. Will and have been sending people to ALS and will continue to. Heck even going to LPMX would be better than this place. Also you would think after being closed they would go through and pull out of dates by it nope that's too much work it seems. Steer clear of...
