I never rate fast food restaurants 1 star, as I know what it’s like to work at one working at one myself; it’s stressful and doesn’t pay enough for the unkind people coming through. With that in mind this is an experience I think needs to be shared because it blew my mind and, in my opinion, inarguably warrants 1 star.
I never go through drive-thrus, foremost, because I work in one myself. It’s chaotic and unorganized sometimes, so I try to be mindful of the employees by avoiding it. However, today was an exception. My dad and I pulled through the drive and gave them our order number, after confirming we were at the right store — we were. They said they didn’t have the order, so I checked to see if it was on my end. We were trying to figure it out with the manager, but she just kept saying they couldn’t help us without the order and asked us to pull to a parking spot, so we wouldn’t hold up their line.
After parking, the manager came out to continue to try to sort it out with us. I realized I hadn’t turned on my location to send it through, so they genuinely hadn’t received it and I apologized and said it was my fault. I turned my location on and sent it though and the app prompted me to go back through the drive to give an employee my order number now that it sent through. At that point the manager said she couldn’t help us even with the order going through and told us to just come back through the drive and order and PAY AGAIN that way.
We pulled back into the drive and re-placed our order, but still checked with the employee at the window, again, to see if now they had our order since the app told me they did. The gal in the window asked if I was CJ and I said yes and she said they finally received it. Yay! My dad followed that up by asking her to cancel the one we placed at the order box, then, and to just give us our mobile of the same since he already paid online. The same manager that said “she couldn’t help us” came up behind this girl, DELETED our mobile order from the system, and turned to us to say, “no, we still don’t have it, just pay for the meal you ordered through here.” My dad says, “she just confirmed she has it. She already knew my daughter’s name.” She proceeded to walk away and left the girl at the window uncertain of what to do. The girl at the window apologized and said she didn’t know what to do because they DID get our order, but her manager just deleted it from the system. We left right after, assuring the girl at the window it was okay because it wasn’t her fault. The manager played games and after realizing they did get our order, she didn’t want to admit she was wrong about not getting it, so deleted it and lied to us about not receiving it. Read moreJust went through the drive thru trying to use my Free Big Mac promotion card which I got from this location. You can get one free Big Mac every week for a year! The Big Mac week starts on a Wednesday and you can get a Big Mac that week through the next Wed. I had a punch open for the week of 10/31 meaning I could get it stamped today still and have the punch be on that week. They punched for both weeks and told me I missed a week? Both the week of 10/31 and 11/7. I was like "I didn't miss a week how come you punched both?". They said I missed a week...They being both the employee and manager on duty. Why give out a free promotion card if you don't even want to honor it? Worst customer service I have ever experienced at a McDonald's! I'm also a paying customer 2-3 other days through out the week. The staff here is clueless! So when do I come in for my next free Big Mac for 11/14? Before that date or after for that week?

It can be dead and they screw up the orders. I try to use the app and they charge me full price because they don't know how to submit certain things. Which I don't understand why? You give them a 4 digit code and it should work. More often than not I end up paying full price ale carte so i pay way more instead of just making it a meal.
For instance get a free hash brown with a purchase of a McMuffin. I told them in the drive thu that that should be a free hasbrown. She just says to pull up. I asked about it and she said I cant substitute bacon for sausage, but the app doesn't say that... So paid $10.xx for everything instead of $7.xx as a meal. This has happened more than once.
It's always something here.
Management also sucks here. I've tried talking with them and they can careless. You try to talk to them to rectify the issue and they walk away.
