Update: 8/4/2023- We stopped by again for a quick lunch on our way through Cuba, with great anticipation for the excellent food we’d experienced before. I hate to say it, but we were very disappointed. We had the nachos again and they were still really good. We ordered the “homemade” onion rings as an appetizer. The onion rings we were served were not homemade. They were edible but not very good. The chicken fajitas were awful. The chicken was possibly boiled and appeared to only seasoned with lime juice. The texture of the chicken was gross and the sautéed vegetables were not done. We should have sent them back but we didn’t. We will go back sometime, but will stick to enchiladas and nachos.

Original review from 2020: We stopped by for a quick lunch on our way through town after seeing the great reviews on Yelp. The food was excellent, as was the service. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival, with no wait. Our order was taken promptly and cooked by the owner, himself. I got the nachos supreme, which was way more than I could eat by myself. We all enjoyed our meals, which included a big bowl filled with homemade sopapillas. They were fantastic and the honey they were served with was the real deal. Don't hesitate to stop by and enjoy a meal at Prescilliano's. The building exterior was nothing to brag about, but the food and the service was. I sure wish we...

TLDR: Everything on the menu has meat in it, so stay away if you're vegan or vegetarian.

The menu at this restaurant is misleading at best, and when I brought it up to my server, all she had to say was that "this is a New Mexican restaurant" and "he's been making it that way for years." Horrible excuse for distributing a misleading menu, because I have been to many New Mexican restaurants, where items that they say are bean dishes contain, in fact, only beans, and when there is pork (or beef, or whatever) in the chile sauce, it is noted. To use this being a New Mexican restaurant as the "reason" for saying a bean dish when it's really a bean, pork, and beef dish is a disgrace to New Mexico in general, because all that does is misinform your customers, and had they just been honest with me, I wouldn't have wasted my time here. I told them to indicate on the menu that even the bean dishes contain meat, but they didn't seem like they would, so that is where the ultimate disappointment lies, not necessarily in the fact that everything on the menu has meat in it (even though that is also extremely...

I'm not sure what happened the day we ate here. The 5-star reviewers must have had a different cook and server. The food was unadulterated slop. I had the carne adovada and it was barely edible. There were pieces that were rock hard like they took overcooked carnitas and threw them in red sauce. The server acted like she was put out when I asked for a water refill. I was tempted to tell people at the door to run away. Oh that's another thing. We stood at the door waiting to be even greeted for about 5 minutes. Fortunately, our stomachs survived. We got a bad case of gas but that was the extent of the effect of the horrible food we...

Not amazing, but not the worst. Came in for lunch on my way to Albuquerque. I had the Carne adovado, which was my first time ever trying this dish. Wasn't the best experience. The pork was very dry, and if not for the sauce outside and covering the burrito, wouldn't have been too enjoyable. Maybe fresh it would have been a great choice, but as it was, not the best. Prices were reasonable enough. Waitress was friendly. Not the best experience, but you win some, you lose some.

Great Food: Great Service:Great Location. The service here is always great! The food is always great as well. Food is out quickly so this makes a great stop to eat usually in and out in 30 minutes. Servers are well dressed and the tables and restaurant is very clean. The booths at this restaurant are very cozy. They offer a wide variety of desserts in their dessert case. Overall a great place! Parking is also very convenient and handicapped friendly. :-)))
