Walked in and noticed that the tables were all dirty. Waiter told us to find a "clean table" and would be right over. Shortly, after another family walked in after us and mind you the waiter walked by us multiple times and completely ignored us!! I realized waiter was already giving the family who arrived after us their drinks and taking their order meanwhile, my family was patiently waiting for almost 20 minutes to order food/drinks. We got up and left and went elsewhere. Oh, and I did over hear they were short on servers which I completely understand and would have waited but the fact that the ignored us was already serving the family that arrived after us...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate: As of 10/28/2017 found out they failed their health inspection getting a 62(U). I read of at least 9 issues sited. Hope they get these issues resolved and kept under control. I had given them a 5 Star review back in 6/2016. Very small non chain Mexican Restaurant on the side of the road that I really enjoyed visiting. I liked sitting outside on their small front porch drinking beer from very frosty ice cold mugs and eating a wonderful tasting large portion size steak quesadilla. Fish tacos were also great. I visit mainly in the mid afternoon after the normal lunch hour and get amazing service from the bartender and wait staff. I will come back...

Amongst ourselves we shared a pitcher of margaritas, which I'm happy to say was excellent and had a good amount of tequila (!). The food is very attractively presented; our friends informed us that the "cook" is actually a chef (or has had chef training - not sure which). I had the chicken breast, which comes with 4 shrimp, jalapeno grits, and vegetables. Although the sauce that was poured over the chicken/grits was a bit too salty, it was delicious. Veggies we're astonishingly fresh and well-seasoned. I was highly impressed...
