A very nice little place in a small town right off 64. We were returning from a weekend trip to NC and looked it up for a lunch stop. The young lady working was a delight. Great tavern food & atmosphere! Breaded tenderloin is a different type of batter, really good! And the Route 65 burger will put you to bed 💤 Double Patties, onion petals, bbq sauce, pepperjack cheese. I like the different options for sides there: onion petals, waffle fries, sweet potato fries. Very impressed with this little place. We sat on the family side. Limited seating. Food and service were excellent. The burger is great quality, fresh made onion rings, crisp seasoned fries. I’m a fan of the patty melt. My daughter had a chicken wrap and it was fresh and tasty. A great find....
