This owner is a WEASEL!! They owned Sal & Mookies and shut down without ANY advanced notice to their patrons. They sold ‘discounted’ gift cards up until close to the time that they closed and then now you can’t use them or get a refund. I reached out directly to the owner, Bruce Lacey and he was not helpful at all. Said they didn’t have any notice of closing which is bologna. Everyone knows to close down an entire restaurant the size of Sal and Mookies and to move and SELL your restaurant space to a new owner, you had to have known you had some plans for this. Plus, to give your staff a little notice of needing to find new employment elsewhere. He was not helpful and totally disregarded my personal email I sent. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals office as it’s a violation of the consumer protection act. I would forward ANYONE WHO VISITS this establishment not to purchase a gift card but to also consider eating elsewhere. Bruce has blocked me from commenting on the Bops FB page as he doesn’t want the negative criticism to harm his other businesses. It’s a joke to treat your customers like this. Get a backbone and stand by what you sell your customers. If your business closed and you recently sold gift cards (more than likely with the knowledge that they’d be UNABLE TO USE THEM), you need to offer a refund as you made money off a a sale with no intention of providing a service....

Read moreDisappointed, all-around. First, they get the order wrong, on 3/2/2021. She ordered a concrete COFFEE shake, with Reese's Peanut Butter concrete, large size. I had them REPEAT the specialty order back 2 times, and STILL NO COFFEE flavoring was added. They MISSED placing any coffee flavoring. Second, lobby is still closed, forcing you to have to eat in your car. What's with this? Lobbies everywhere are OPEN, already. Even the theatre next door is OPEN. Get with it, and stop living in fear. Thirdly, their LARGE size is really NOT a large, in comparison with Sonic, or Culver's large sizes. Their large size at Bop's is really masquerading as a SMALL size --- only a 12 oz. That's pathetic. C'mon, we're not children anymore. Beef-up the sizes! So, for WHAT you get, at a cost of $6.41, for what they call a LARGE concrete shake, which is REALLY a SMALL size by other industry standards, you're really getting ripped-off by an over-priced concrete shake, for what LITTLE they give you, while horsing-up the order and not getting it right, forcing you to stay inside your car, as they won't...
