BUCKLE UP, it’s a long one….

Let me start off by saying we went here on Labor Day so it was very busy. my husband, his parents (they are african american) and I (white) arrived at the restaurant around 2:30pm. Every single table along with all the chairs at the bar were taken. There is no one there to greet you or help you figure out where to sit. So, my husband, his dad and I went to the bathroom while his mom stayed back to wait. We came back and you could see more people were starting to come so we formed a line. technically, we were there first but they had a man that formed a line. the bar freed up slightly so we let him and his two guests have the bar. another table became free so we tried to take it but they had a lady (asian) at the bar that already ordered her food but she claimed the table for her guest. my mother in law and her had a heated discussion and none of the workers intervened to resolve the situation. well we continued to wait and finally another table became free and we had to ask the cleaner to clean off the table so we could sit down. Once we sat down, a worker came right up to us and apologized for the wait and everything. so was SOOO kind and got our orders right away. i really wanted a vietnamese coffee but she informed me they were out. She brought me a lemonade and didn’t charge me for it to accommodate for the coffee. While we waited for our food, we observed everything going on in the restaurant. they had a sweet old couple (they were african american) behind us waiting in the line and tables were starting to free up. they didn’t want to go sit at a dirty table so they were trying to wait until it was cleared but the lady (asian) BEHIND them cut them and went try to take a table so we had to say something to the worker. The worker didn’t really do anything about it and let the customer figure it out themselves. The people that cut the older couple ended up eating first. How does that make sense? it seemed that everyone kept cutting and there were no regulations on seating. they need a worker that handles the seating so that people don’t have to wait in an actual line just to get a table and no one can cut anyone. I hate to say this but the vibes that we got were that the asian customers felt entitled to dine first. The person that took our order didn’t give us that impression but it seemed that the asian customers felt entitled to the tables first. That’s just the vibes we got from our experience there. Anyways, our food came and i can’t lie, it was AMAZING. we ordered two shrimp noodle bowls and two Scarlett Pearl Specials. Our food was phenomenal. the broth was so tasty and flavorful and everything was so fresh. the portions are plentiful. we had a whole to-go container full when we left. As we were leaving, the tables that have been freed up when we first sat down had still not been cleaned. the issue is that the guy that cleans off the tables also cleans the dishes in the back. the bottom line is, THEY NEED MORE PEOPLE. point blank period. Especially when it’s as busy as it was. I really hope something is done about their manning because i felt so bad for the sweet older couple behind us. Although it was a rough start, we left very satisfied with the service and the food. And for four people, we paid $75 without the tip so it was a very reasonable price. I think next time, if it is that busy in there, i will just call and order to go because the seating arrange was a...

Hands down the Pho Champion. I have tried many restaurants in the Gulf Coast area, Chopstx is by far the best at making this item on the Gulf Coast. It’s the smallest place with the biggest heart❤️❤️Lol Staff is super friendly. Seriously, it is my second time ordering here, the first pho I order like 2 months ago and it was awesome. Like most restaurants, quality isn’t as consistent as you want it be. So I was very surprised this order was the freshest ever. I tried the vegetarian Pho and it was on point. Vegetables super fresh and crispy even when I poured in the pho broth. I had to use a really big bowl for this one lol. The veggies with the noodles weighed at least 2 lbs maybe more. I drove from Saucier to get this and I will be back ...

One of several in SPCR, CNB is top of the line. DO NOT BELIEVE just bc it's in a casino that its $$$$. IT IS NOT! GOOD prices! GREAT menu!! AMAZING quality!!! Chopstix by far has the best PHO on the MSGC and the broth is WOW. If its GOOD, no add-ons are required but your presence. Family and Friends should come together. Space is limited but the experience to just sit and dine here even defeats the wait. Great staff, take your time ordering, be patient and courteous, bc the food is worth the wait. You will be tempted to order more so come prepared. P.S, To all Non-gamblers, drinkers, smokers, and vegans.. Come here to eat🍽, play⛳ or stay♨️ bc you all are welcomed at SPCR! Sorry...

I visited Chopstx Noodle Bar recently along with my friend. It is located inside the Scarlet Pearl Casino. The parking of the Casino can be used. While entering the lift from the parking side, the noodle bar is located on Casino (C) level. The dining facility is top notch with friendly servers. The food was unique for me as it was my second time trying Vietnamese food. I tried Tofu Spring Rolls and Vegetarian Pho. I liked the Veg Pho a lot and it was really healthy at the same time. I also tried Grass Jelly drink. I didn't like the drink that much. Overall our experience was amazing. I hope to return back and try other dishes on the menu.

Staying at SCARLET Pearl and stopped in here for lunch. It was not busy. We sat at the counter near cooking area so we could watch. The staff were nice...both our waitress and cook. Ordered the fried egg rolls....I didn't care for them but my husband liked them. We also ordered the chicken banhmi sandwich but received a pork sandwich. It had cucumber, pork, cilantro on French banguette....it was just ok for me. I didn't care for pork. I had tea to drink my husband sprite. Prices reasonable. It was busier during the evening hours. I wouldn't personally go back.
