Five Guys — Restaurant in D'Iberville

I just want to start by saying I work here. And I'm sitting and reading thses bad reviews.. and i apologize to anyone who ever had a bad experience. For one yes the burgers may be pricy but what people don't understand is that you're getting fresh beef thats preped and hand made every day. Our fries are REAL, fresh cut potatoes that are cut every morning and cooked as ordered. We prep all vegetables and topping for the burgers everyday from the real vegetables itself.. Everything you order is going to be absolute real, non processed food. So of course they are going to cost more than a $1 Mcdonald cheeseburger .. & yes its cold in the lobby, but it's 90 degrees in the kitchen area.. There are other options like taking your food to go or sitting outside. If you ask we can even adjust the temperature. We do anything possible we can for customers to have the best food and service while being at our restaurant. If there's a problem with your food, we will always remake it. You can even call and we can set you up for everything you ordered to be free the next time you want, or we give you your money back. & yes we also have a tip jar (for those who say its rude) it's optional to...

Wow is really all I can say!! Family night out with my husband and our two little girls and wanted to try something different in the promenade area. Chose five guys and that was a mistake. First of all I've NEVER been to any burger joint whether it be McDonald's Hardee's ruby Tuesday chilis etc that at their register they have an enormous tip jar!! I think that's just rude.. I mean if you want tips then why not do like every other place and give that option. Prices was ridiculous!! Two "little" one burgers and two bacon cheeseburgers with a small fry and regular fry plus a regular drink and a large drink was almost $45!!!! We could've went to a nice restaurant for that price! When you serve "Cajun fries" they aren't supposed to be dusted with salty stuff that is suppose to the seasoning.. Very greasy and left myself along with husband with heartburn. Not to mention our daughters love French fries and they wouldn't even eat the fries they was that horrible. I have had a lot of good luck going to this location, in the past. Their general policy with handling of allergens seemed safe. Yesterday, I clearly expressed how sensitive I am to gluten because I have celiac disease. It was noted on my order and the order taker communicated to the line cooks before they started to prepare my food. The cook changed his gloves and proceeded to touch many different surfaces as he carried on a conversation with his coworkers. While distracted, he managed to contaminate my food so badly that I’ve spent my entire day, today, unable to get out of bed. Celiacs beware! I won’t go back and I urge anybody else to be...
