Me, my girlfriend, and our friend came into fresh yesterday afternoon and because we had heard that the crawfish and royal reds. When going to order we found out that they were completely out of crawfish. Dismayed as that was the only real reason we came we decided to give the restaurant a shot. We ordered reds and grab legs, and our ticket ended up being around $90 bucks. Now I am not a stranger to paying good money for good food, however our expirence with the food WAS NOT GOOD! It took about 30 minutes to get our food and when we did we could tell my girlfriends plate was made first and then sat while they made the rest as the reds that weren't under the rest of the food and the crab legs were cold as if they had been sitting out for a while. To the point where my girlfriend didn't feel comfortable eating them as she was worried about food safety. I ate my plate and was surprised at the lack of flavor that the good review I had received said there was. I love Vietnamese food as was excited to taste those flavors however they were not there. When paying close to 100 bucks for 2 people to eat I expect a level of service and food quality. The atmosphere was very poor as we were sitting infront of multiple TVs and none of them were on, on super bowl day? No music just the sound of things clanging in the kitchen. No one came by our table to check how our food was, it was honestly an overall bad experience. I normally do not complain, but it was very very bad, and I won't...
Read moreSooo came here while I was in town, also because of the reviews and a friend’s recommendation. First I’ll say the staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the facility is very clean. I had a standard size combination pho with extra tripe and traditional spring rolls and a water to drink. The pho broth was very good and flavorful, as well as the traditional spring rolls. For me though, the pho lacked quantity of protein, I chose fresh beef, brisket, tripe w extra tripe, tendon and mushrooms. I literally counted 6 pieces of beef from the size of a dime to a quarter and less quantity of the others, 6 pieces!! Lol I think for a $16.00 standard bowl of pho, should be more meat/extras or at least larger pieces, had a lot of noodles. They dont serve any hot teas, but had a wide variety of cold drinks, beer, and other teas. Total bill was $28.00 for pho broth/noodles and spring rolls. I don’t think I’ll be coming back for pho, I’ll just keep to my 2 favorites spots for that, but I will try the other dishes here eventually. The guy at the front counter said they are known for their seafood, mainly...
Read moreI seen this place on FB and just so happen to be in the mood for crawfish and shrimp. I would say the flavor was good and different and that’s what I liked. It was spicy but not so spicy you loose feeling to all taste buds. The garlic butter sauce (additional $3) is definitely needed as without it the food seemed to lack a little seasoning. The crawfish was far better then the Royal reds, the reds were a little under cooked for my liking. I also had the spring rolls with the peanut dipping sauce. I am a fan and really enjoyed these, everything was fresh and the grilled shrimp were flavorful. We also tried the passion fruit tea with mango boba and two different flavored milk teas. Overall it was pretty good, I did give 4/5 stars as it was quite pricy. The crawfish and Royal red platter included 3lbs of crawfish, 1lb of Royal reds, 1 corn and one potato cut in half, no sausage was included, the spring rolls and 3 specialty drinks with a tip cost us $70 pretty pricey as we didn’t leave full and satisfied but left us wanting a...
