Glazed Doughnuts — Restaurant in D'Iberville

I really enjoy this place, i go every couple mornings and i am usually in here every single Sunday morning. I always get 4 glazed donuts. Now i don’t know if they went up on prices, but i went in on Saturday morning and got 4 donuts as usual and total came out to be $3.81 and it was the man who helped me. I go in this morning and it was their new employee who rung me up and it was around $4.60, the new employee up charged me. To me she also seems like she doesn’t want to be there to work. Don't let the uninspired name put you off from this jem. More than just your average hole in the wall doughnut shop. Good selection of doughnuts, drinks, and kolachs. Above average coffee. I like the kolache selection and found the jalapeno Conecuh kolache to be a wonderful start to the day. The doughnuts were that magical blend of home style with commercially perfected recipe, technique, and freshness on demand. I had their namesake doughnut still warm from the drier and I think it was better than Krispy Kreme in taste and texture. No one tried the sandwiches buy they all looked competently made and...

Poor service. Cashier was very rude and was refusing to give me 2 chocolate donuts because they were at the front of the case and she didn’t want to bend to get them. She did finally give them to me, after complaining. We got 2 glazed, 2 chocolate, 2 kolache, and a dozen donut holes. Asked to heat the kolache and it was still cold. Initially asked for half a dozen donut holes and was rudely informed they only sold by dozen. No problem. Donuts were okay. Nothing to write about. Overall poor service and subpar food.
