After reading the reviews I got$0.02 & here is where i'll use them.
1)people don't realize that just because a table next to you gets seated that does not mean that person that helps them is your waiter. The way It works there is the booth row where the booths touch back to back & typically one table at the end of that row is each waiters section. It's not that you are being ignored by a waiter when you see them helping out a table across from yours it's just that etiquette wise and literally their job is to tend only to their tables. Most will happily help a table out that's not theirs if folks wave them over.
2)also you may think half the resterant is empty so they're not busy why is your server busy/why is your food taking too long? The way mugshots was is, the booths that are the furthurest away from the front door/by the bathrooms are the first ones that have waiters who get "cut"first. Look at where you are seated and see if that's packed. That would explain why the lengthy time when you think the restraunt is mostly empty. They can't keep waiters on the clock if they're unable to make wages/tips that equal minimum wage. If they kept each row open then they wouldn't be allowing their staff to make any money.
4)just because theres no gratituity added automatically and yall know it, dont abuse it. Tip the waiter! They worked hard serving all of you. They most likely even had to be skipped having other tables for a couple of turns to solely focus and provide yall the best. Dont short the tip because A)the food took too long B) something wasnt made correctly C)anything else put of waiter control The resreraunt still gets their full share, the manager & cooks loose nothing. The bar tender & expo & bus boy get tipped out off top from each waiter.its the waiter who gets the short end when yall mad & stiff tip. $2.50 isnt liveable & if you take up their time &then leave no tip. Thats all they made that hour & you should go sit & spin on a cactus.
Now for you MUGSHOTS STOP MAKING THE ONES WHO OPEN IN THE MORING DO SIDEWORK & HAVE TO BE SIGNED OUT. CLOSERS DONT HAVE TO BECAUSE THEY LAST TO LEAVE & HAVE CLOSING DUTIES. OPENERS HAVE TO PUY DOWN ALL CHAIRS, MAKE THE TEA, CUT THE LEMONS, GET DRESSINGS UNWRAPPED, GET SODA NOZZLES PUT ON & THEN CANT LEAVE UNTIL TH LAST PERSON FOR DAY SHIFT SAYS THEY CAN AFTSR THEY DO EVEN MORE STUFF!? NO OPENERS SHOULD NOT HAVE SIDE WORK JUST LIKE THE CLOSERS ALSO MAKE THE HOSTESS ROLE SILVERWARE INSTEAD OF DOODLUNG WITH THE MARKERS ON THE SEATIN XHART. AlSO IF A WAITER ISNT OFF BUT BECAUZE NO SILVERWARE IS ROLLED A D THEY ROLL IT FOR EVERYONES USE USE DO NOT BE A PETTY MOFO AND DARE CRY THERES SILVERWARE TO BE ROLLED BEFORE THEY CAN LEAVE, NAH THEY10 With đ -a bish who...
Read moreI started eating at Mugshots when there was only 2 locations. I was recommended by my husband who had eaten at the original one in Hattiesburg. There was only one that we knew of. I tried Mugshots in Mobile and then Biloxi when they were next to the mall. I had great experiences pretty much every time I went. Then I saw one pop up in Diberville. This is a closer location so when I had a taste for Mugshots I chose this one. To date, I have 3 unpleasant experiences. The first one took extremely long for a to go order and when I received my food I had an order missing. So now the rest of my food was getting cold while I waited for the rest. The second time one of my meals was missing a side of fries so my burger was getting cold while I had to wait for fries and also realized after getting my fries that I had received the wrong burger. I just took it and left because I didnât feel like going back in to correct it. The most recent was not that bad of a wait. However, I have pictures this time to show how my meal looked. And just in case you arenât sure what youâre looking at I will explain. I ordered the comeback burger and onion rings. Which by the way are my favorite beer battered onion rings when done right. Also, I received no onion ring dip. And my burger was wayyy overcooked(burned). My bacon (burned) my onion rings burned. I managed to get almost half of the burger down until I bit down on a rock hard onion ring.(it came on the burger). There was crust, no onions. I paid for a good meal and I got this. Now after this many times of getting service like this I canât see myself eating at this location again. It almost makes me not want to eat at Mugshots ever again anywhere. I watched through the window while sitting in the curbside pickup parking space and observed playing, shoving each other, talking over the food and some were walking around aimlessly like they had nothing to do! (The workers) It was really disappointing to see! This was including what looked liked to be the manager. Whomever, owns this location, Please do something because it wonât make it by giving service and food like this. I was nice to give 2 stars. If something can be done about my experiences, I will...
Read morePLEASE READ IF YOU HAVE ANY ALLERGY. Well, where to start. My fiancé and I chose to come to this location from out of town because of their gluten free option. We both suffer from severe gluten intolerance. (My fiancé has Celiacs disease). After waiting around to order an appetizer, our waitress, Dede came by. We got some chips with no issues after waiting about 25 minutes for our actual order to be taken Dede came back. We both ordered burgers, with gluten free buns and sweet potato fries and a side of ranch. We stated that we could not have ANY gluten. Our waitress had no notepad so we assumed she was seasoned.
Here we go. After our food came out, both burgers appeared to be okay, but there were regular fries covering both plates. (With Celiacs, ANY amount of gluten that even touched the bun or tray will cause sickness)
We informed our waitress after waiting for about 10 more minutes. She took our trays back and came back with sweet potato fries.
I noticed that the paper trays were covered in grease and crumbs all over from the regular fries and kindly asked to get different buns and paper tray sheet.
10 more minutes went by. Dede retuned with âfresh buns, paper and friesâ we were delighted. BUT upon inspection we had the same exact buns, our fries were absolutely just thrown back in the fryer. AND they were mixed in with pieces of regular fry and onion rings on the tray!
After the disappointment I we going to go correct the order once more but my fiancé was scared of what else would happen to the food. So we just waited another 15 minutes for Dede to come back and bring us some ranch.
Now that we were set we decided to chance it. Big mistake.
Itâs the following morning and all through the night my fiancĂ© was sick. Stomach cramps, back cramps, breaking out, headache. Hmmmm these symptoms randomly appear? Or were they cause by an inept server and kitchen staff. Will NEVER be back. Worst service we have...
