Living in San Antonio, we are absolutely spoiled by some of the best Mexican food on this earth! However, when you’re cruising through from TX to FL, you absolutely need to Make this a stop you have to hit up! The margaritas are HUGE and well worth the price as the heavy pour is very noticeable! The strawberry Kiwi marg was literally off the hook! Also the steak nachos and the enchiladas Al carbon were just legendary!! Cheyenne was our waitress and she was absolutely great and very cheerful and full of joy making our experience very memorable! The ONLY reason we have to give this atmosphere a 4 stars was that when they have birthdays here, they make an absolutely loud and ear piercing noise with their Mexican noise makers that make it hard to hear. Even our waitress said that she thinks she’s losing her hearing . lol.

Flying in from SoCal for some work training, I don’t know why I decided on trying a Mexican restaurant (it’s not like I don’t have any of it at home) But I am so glad I did. The margaritas are huge and very delicious (I prefer light sweetness and the cucumber jalapeño was perfect). Complimentary chips and salsa were delicious and the carnitas were great. I didn’t know what to expect of carnitas in this area but I’m happy to say they are delicious! I ordered 3 a La carte carnitas tacos and it was just enough food to fill me up. I asked for their spicy sauce options on the side and I’m glad I did! Both the jalapeño and habanero sauces were very hot but still very flavorful, I was only able to get 2 bites worth with these though, since I’m not big on spicy food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone craving Mexican 👍🏽

Wow, I live in SA town (San antonio) and googled and found positive reviews of the place so I stopped in around 545 pm. The place is beautiful, didn't get greeted so fast so went to the bar. José was an amazing server and was quick with everything and gave great recommendations. I had the steak taco, get it with onions and bell peppers, and 1 chicken enchilada. The chicken was on point, the tortilla was great, the salsa Verde sauce was amazing. The top shelf margaritas was amazing. I judge most Mexican restaurants on their salsa and man it was amazing. Good spice level, but not to hot. Plenty of seating, positive atmosphere. The night I came in a cool 70s rock musician was playing. Had a great time and will be coming back tomorrow for the polla location. Come in and ask for Jose, he goes by quervo! Fun kid.

My son and I ate dinner here last night. Let me start off by saying the food and service were both great. The restaurant is very nice, and has a good atmosphere, and the margaritas are strong and tasty.

The serving sizes and the prices are another story.

I ordered:

Large Top shelf Marg (23.25) Large cheese dip (8.99) Steak Chimichanga plate (15.99) Steak Quesadilla w/ rice (13.99) Sweet tea (3.25)

My total was $65.47 + tax = $70.05 + tip = $83.00. $83.00 for myself and my 11 year old son, and we left hungry.

If I had ordered the same exact items from El Saltillo, the total would've been $40.48 plus tax and tip. If I had ordered the same exact items from El Patron, the total would've been $38.63 + tax and tip. If I had ordered the same exact items from Pepe's Bosque it would have been $42.00 + tax and tip.

I'm struggling to see where this extra ~$25+ comes into play, especially considering the portion sizes.

Their menu lists steak quesadillas a la cart for $6.99, Rice for $3.49, yet I was charged $13.99 for the 2 together on a plate for my son. The quesadilla was half the size of other local restaurants (and of the menu picture), and the Chimichanga I got was LITERALLY the smallest chimichanga I've ever gotten at any Mexican restaurant I've ever dined at.

Before I left I spoke with the manager, was very polite, told him our server was great, food was great, but for what we paid we should not be leaving hungry. He seemed very apathetic, and just said he'd mention it to the owners. I understand he doesn't set the price and likely not the portion sizes, but damn dude act like you care.

This is the first Google review I've ever left for a restaurant, and I promise I'm not a Karen... Just kinda blown away by what I paid and what I got...

💖Pedro's of D'Iberville💖 2025 Margarita's of the Year ~Many flavors to choose, even watermelon, and so many others too. Yum!! 🍹🍸 ~Reservations see Google Maps. ✅ ~Sports bar area w/ nice size LED TVs everywhere. The bar wraps around the center. And, booths all around the walls. In between, is filled with two differents sizes of dining tables that fill in between the bar and walls. Open and airy, with tall ceilings, and plenty of room to walk throughout the restaurant. ✅ ~Meetings w/ 20 to 40+ people...just ask. ✅ ~Loved Sam's (Samantha) dining experience. She ensured everything was exactly as we requested. Don't be too shy to request her. ~Food - yummylicious and fresh ingredients throughout.💞💟😋 Food was temp hot🌡- All the Way. I'll be back when Sam is scheduled.🥰 ~Salsa does have some kick. So, I dipped my chip lightly in the beans and then the salsa. YUM❗😅 ~All the flavors I love, in salsa, and the complimentary bean dip is a delicious new twist, that raises the bar for this restaurant. ~Oh, so good!! Fantastic combination, of U.S. Western ➕ deep Southern Mexican authentic dishes meet up, with superbly combined flavors and fresh ingredients. Simply choose your number and meat. ~Pedro's is, my new go-to, for Mexican food, on the MS Gulf Coast, that I often crave. ~Service is quick and accurate. Pedro's is great for: celebrations, go-aways, meetings, and kid friendly. ~If there is a live music night, that will be my favorite night, to enjoy, the best of Mexican cuisine in South...

First off get rid of the drink buzzer behind the bar, it kills your atmosphere and annoys the customers. Probably some of the best Mexican food the coast has to offer, I’m an huge fan of their food and great atmosphere. Downside, the past 4 times I’ve been in the past 6 months the service is good awful. The girl tonight(wore all black Nike air maxs) was terrible, like the worst waitress. We waited 10 minutes for her to come over and great us, that being said, she only had 2 tables, and one of those included us. She got out drink order, got the liquor drinks out first, then had to wait for the remaining 6 drinks to be brought out, so while I’m sucking down a corona, my kids screaming because her sprite hasn’t gotten there yet. The after our drinks finally get there, she disappeared and don’t show for another 20 minutes to get out order, I thought the only way to make true profit in a a restaurant was to burn and churn tables and get them in and out…. Which is one thing, but this was just her not caring. Finally after 5 people get there entrees, they are still Missing one steak fajitas, took them 15 minutes for it to get back out. Took us 30 minutes to get out tabs, even thought she collected out plates. By that time she has 4 tables, including us. So their service needs to step it up, this wasn’t a one time thing,...
