Could you consider blocking out the back side of the drive thru entrance sign? Something needs to notify drivers that they shouldn’t be entering that way (the side where Marshall’s is).
I sometimes have to back up to get out of the parking lot because cars will enter the side where Marshall’s is. A line starts forming down that side street. So all you can really do is pull into a parking spot and try to get out of the parking lot. The problem, of course, is if there are people in the drive-thru line (where they are supposed to be), making that not possible.
Today, there was no one in the drive thru line where it’s supposed to be (right side of building if facing the front door)—a line had started on the Marshall’s side, completely blocking the exit, so I pulled into a parking spot, backed up, straightened out completely. Before I could pull forward to the stop sign, a car enters and decides to block me from pulling forward. There was no one to the right and I was all the way to my left because I was anticipating someone coming into the drive-thru lane. I suspect they were confused as to why there were cars blocking the exit of the parking lot (if you’re facing Marshall’s) and they were deciding how they too were either going to find a way out of this dilemma or stay and hope a driver was nice enough to let them into the drive thru’s...
Read moreJust waited 45 minutes for two drinks. I don't typically go to Starbucks because I think the drinks aren't very good and it's really overpriced. I tried it anyways because my boyfriend loves it and we were killing time. We ordered an iced black tea and a dragon refresher with coconut milk. With every item she read back, something was wrong. Okay so the dragon refresher with lemonade? No coconut milk Okay so I have a chi green tea add lemonade and a coconut refresher? NO. And we repeat the order. She enters it correctly and like 25 minutes later when we get to the window, we pay. I try my drink. It was so bad. Maybe it's not supposed to be a sweet drink. We asked then to sweeten it, and they acted so put out. So we waited another 5 minutes, watching my boyfriends drink set up by the drive thru window, melting, getting flies all over it. They put a little simple syrup in. It didn't sweeten it, and they literally didn't care. So I waited around 45 minutes for an overpriced unsweet tea that 4x what I could have gotten at a gas station in 10 seconds. I typically tip at drive thrus if someone gives wonderful service, acts like they care and try to make it right. Those girls were making terrible drinks, throwing them o customers, and not caring how much time it took or how it tasted. Big disappointment, even...
Read moreThis morning I parked my car and walked in to order ONE chai latte. I was told by the man taking my order it would be 20 mins. I was taken aback, but I'm a patient person. My response to his flippant unapologetic attitude of 'just so you know it will take 20 mins' was a polite "just so you know there will be no tip" and then I took in the store. Zero pple in line at the counter and 18 of us standing around waiting for our paid orders. There were 6 pple working behind the counter. 2 were actually hustling and I felt awful for them. 1 man was stocking the shelves and the other 3 were shuffling around at a snails pace. People were walking out upset without their paid orders. There was zero apologies made, just attitude. I stood silent for 48 minutes!!!! Yes you read that correctly, 48 mins!!! When I was handed my ONE drink with zero apology for my patient wait I loudly stated "48 mins for a single hot drink is ridiculous, but the unapologetic attitude is offensive and shame on all of you." Let's do better Starbuck's!!!! p.s. 4 other local patrons told me that this store is notoriously horrific and I could not agree more. DO NOT GO TO THIS Starbuck's or do so knowing it will be a loooooong wait...
