The Pub Sports Bar — Restaurant in D'Iberville

I was pretty disappointed. I had friends with me that stepped outside to go buy some cigarettes next door. I was getting worried it had been a good 30 mins and they hadn't been back. When I stepped out to look for them I notice them in a huge line waiting to get back in. I told security I had already payed can I go back in they said " no, no reentry unless you pay $10 dlrs and you have to get back in line". There was easy 30 people waiting to get in. My issue here is, yes, eventhough there is a sign on the floor that says you have to pay reentry that I was later shown by the lady at the entrance, someone going for the first time can easily oversee it. Like me and my crew did. I would suggest you put the sign outside the door before entering the building where there is enough light. Music, cleanliness in restrooms, bartenders, everything else...

The pub is an excellent place to go the service was quick and pleasant the food was excellent and even security/doorman/bouncer greeted us with a pleasure smile, checked IDs, we were politely searched then welcomed in to enjoy our night. Plenty of room to shoot pool comfortably, huge dance floor. Several large televisions with variety of sports. Bathrooms large & stayed cleaned, bar & tables bused & cleared quickly. The Pud has an excellent staff and environment. Security made sure (us women) made it safely to our ride as leaving The Pub. Stopped in while passing through on a road trip, wanted to have a few beers and watch college football. The place is a sports bar by day, club at night. We were there during the transition and it was fine (we're old and tired and the club crowd was young and energetic but polite and fun, pointed me to the bathroom when I got turned around). No hassle about anything. Only disappointment is that we couldn't get roast beef Po Boys, the kitchen was pretty much on fried food-only mode when we ordered .
