Tiantian Super Buffet — Restaurant in D'Iberville

We've been here before, and usually have a good experience. Today however was a different story. My husband and I brought my mom and disabled dad out for lunch after church and we were extremely disappointed.

Many of the food items were ice cold despite being on the "hot" section of the buffet. When we tried to address this with the waitress, she just smiled and said, "yeah, yeah". (This same waitress also reached her arm right in front of my face to take my husband's plate, when she could have walked to his side of the table. She also dropped ice on my foot while pouring my glass of water, but that's not a big deal, my foot will live.) My mom also mentioned the cold food to another person, but got a similar response.

The best thing I ate was the hot and sour soup, most of the rest was pretty disappointing. My dad barely ate anything.

When I went for ice cream, the dip well for the scoop was not on, and the water was pretty nasty looking, so I passed on that.

I'm not usually one to complain, I'm much more of a happy-go-lucky, roll-with-the-punches kind of person. But this was too many things wrong at one time. Their service has gone downhill over the years, and even though the price is low, I don't feel like it's worth it at all anymore. We won't be back again.

Edited to add: When my mom tried to speak to the "manager" about the food being cold, he "misunderstood" what she said and merely said "no, no, no" and shook his head a lot. This seemed to be a recurring theme when faced with...

If their was a negative 5 stars that is what I would rate them.. DEFINITELY A THUMBS DOWN 👎👎The food here is horrible , it had no seasoning and it was all recooked.. the rice was hard and stale and the noodles were mushy..the honey chicken was like a rock. The food was also cold. The coconut shrimp we're hard with little sauce on it.. I can go on.. I brought my family of 6 to eat here and even the children didn't want to eat. When I pulled in and saw only 2 cars I should have listened to my husband and left. I did however only pay for our drinks and we left and went to another restaurant. I would not suggest anyone to eat here. The smell of old raw shrimp hits your nose hard when you walk in.. but I was hungry and looked passed it thinking maybe it was because of the food they were serving, but I was definitely WRONG!! I COULDN'T DARE TO PUT THE SUSHI IN MY MOUTH.. I may have gotten sick. 🤢..And they only had 3 different kinds. I'm sorry for such a long review but I had to tell you all. I still have the smell of the noodles in my nose from throwing up in my mouth and napkin... Go to panda they are the best in D'Iberville.. as far as Chinese food.. I just thought we would try something different.. and also ranchero Mexican restaurant is really good. That's where we went after this awful and terrible experience today. Also the service in poor and we waited for 30 minutes to be seated when their was only 2 other families eating inside. Don't waste your time or money it's not...

My spouse and I normally go here on a regular but April 2 was different. We was sat at our normal booth got out drinks and food. I went to the bathroom and we got our second plate to come back to the table with the check already on there, we didn’t ask for it. We needed refills on our drink so my spouse went and paid for the ticket and raised her hand for the waitress who didn’t come. I went to the register to inform them but he did nothing so we ate with no drinks. The gentleman behind us raised his hand and the man at the register rushed to him. My spouse stopped him then and told him we need refills again. Finally we got our refills but by then we was done eating. I will never be returning due to the discrimination we received. She served quality service to all the Caucasian customers and ignored everyone else. I normally tip but after the great disgust NEVER WILL I RETURN AND I WILL REPORT ABOUT IT TO EVERYONE I COME IN CONTACT WITH AT...
