Waffle House — Restaurant in D'Iberville

Thank goodness for the guests around to distract from the chaos and absolutely terrible service. Poor man next to me was already there when we arrived. He had ordered 3 biscuits to go. 30 minutes later we finally got our order and he was still waiting. And the server kept making comments about how she had to go in order, then had the nerve to tell him he should have ordered online and it would have been ready! The servers were talking about some shirts they were ordering for the team instead of calling orders and making excuses to the customers about why they couldn't call the orders. They had two and three orders per server waiting to go in. 10 minutes just to get water. We stop at Waffle Houses all over the country because they are efficient, consistent and congenial. This team was none of these and our server made both the guests and her teammates stressed and made us feel guilty for having asked if our order was in yet after 15...

Simple order. Waffle and sausage for one and sausage and biscuit and gravy for the other. The waffle came out fairly quick for one person but only a partial order for one of two. About 15 to 20 minutes later 2 orders of sausage appear and still no biscuit and gravy. Finally caught the waitress to remind her after about another 10 minutes. I gave up after about another 10 minutes when she told me it would be out shortly and told her to forget. Her initial excuse was there were customers ahead of us but that didn't explain the waffle being delivered in a timely manner. The place couldn't seem to deliver complete dinners to anyone since small plates were being delivered to many of the tables and had she been honest about the gravy order she would have admitted she had forgotten it in all of their mess. This is the worst Waffle House I have ever been to and with as many as there are down here I can't see a reason to go back...

My name is Shawn Wallace and I was at your restaurant the early morning around 3:54-4:15 am on July 10, 2021. I ordered a steak and bacon Texas cheese melt with smothered covered chunk hash browns. When i got home and open up my food I was lost for words. The sandwich was so burnt that I couldn’t believe it was steak! All I seen was bacon. I took a bite only because I had to take some meds. It not only look horrible but tasted horrible as well. I didn’t even touch the hash browns because it was supposed to be a full meal. I am very very dissatisfied. I took pictures of the food and trashed most of the sandwich before realizing I should contact you and I tried calling your restaurant but the operator came on a said their not taking any food orders over the phone and that I needed to come in. I live off Hwy 49 near Saucier and I wasn’t coming back that way right then. I feel as tho my order should...
