However, there are areas for improvement. The availability of lighter bowling balls with more weight variety would be a great addition, as currently, only balls starting from #7 are offered, which are too heavy for children. Additionally, most of the balls have very small finger holes, making it difficult for people with larger fingers to use them properly. This negatively impacts the gameplay experience.

A significant positive is the installation of bumpers on the lanes for children, allowing them to enjoy their turns without frustration. This makes the activity much more enjoyable for kids and families alike.

We stopped overnight in Dalhart, Tx on our way home to Abilene, Tx from Colo Springs last night. My grandson picked The Dust Bowl for dinner, Monday, 8pm. I had a generous portion of chicken fried steak/gravy, green beans and onion rings. The chicken fried steak was hands down the VERY BEST I have ever eaten! It was sooo tender and the crust was light and crunchy and a large portion. The green beans were seasoned very well and the onion rings were fresh and crunchy! Wow! This is a five star place! This place is an absolute have to stop at establishment. I was in the semi, and had easy parking. The atmosphere is cheerful and friendly. There is plenty to do here, bowling, arcade games and enough TV screens to watch every game and rodeo that's being broadcasted. The music kept the upbeat mood, yet a conversation was easily had without yelling or needing repeated. The food was exceptional, thanks to the amazing staff. I ordered the Gutterball steak, med rare. It was a bit overcooked, but it was still tender and flavorful. This place still gets 5 stars and I recommend that you stop in here. Great place for a date. and family...
