I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fry Daddy’s, a wonderful Muslim-owned restaurant that’s quickly becoming a local favorite. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were friendly, attentive, and truly seemed to care about providing a great dining experience.

Hello! I am a Dallas local food reviewer with a YouTube channel and social media!

The first thing I do have to say is that the food is definitely fresh and made-to-order!

The lady at the front counter and the other staff were very pleasant to take my order!

I ordered a smack Burger, 2 piece Catfish l, and Finger licking flavored wings ...

The smack Burger was very well made! It had 2 real beef patties smashed together with American cheese, grilled onions, spicy mayo, and a secret sauce. It was very tender and easy to eat! I will be ordering that again!

The catfish fillets were very well seasoned and fried crispy and Crunchy... I don't know what seasonings they used on it but it was very zesty and produced a good flavor.

I will definitely order that again too!

Now let's move on to the wings!

The wings came out breaded and fried with the finger licking sauce heavily drizzled all over them and I really like that because I could taste the flavor of the wings and not just the breaded batter . . I also really like that they have a wide variety of flavors to choose from on their menu!!

I also took some home for my mother to try them and they were delicious to her. She can be a tough critic being that she owned her own restaurant for Awhile. Also all of the food came out very fresh and hot!!! The grape Kool-Aid that I had, they definitely put the sugar first and I appreciate that it was not watered down! 💯

I like to read reviews to get suggestions for new flavors. My go to flavor here is the ATL (it’s amazing), today I tried the hot honey mama and it was amazing also!

I read some reviews mentioning that the wings are higher than competitors, you’re comparing a local restaurant to a franchised worldwide restaurant. That’s not exactly a fair comparison considering food costs in bulk vs local, but I went ahead and compared prices. I ordered the same exact thing (Better flavors at fry daddy’s of course) at both restaurants and took into account the different sizing of ranches/sauces. Fry daddy’s came out $1.37 CHEAPER than the competitor. So all of those reviews are by default inaccurate.

The general display of the food is so much better put together than competitors. I mean, it’s arranged beautifully. This is take out, I can’t imagine what it would look like dining in. I always get exactly what I order, sauces included. The wings are significantly larger than anywhere else, the breading is amazing also. They are always perfectly cooked!
