Ordered to go for the first time. Looked through the menu and saw many dishes with egg, I have an egg allergy so when I saw the lo mein that did not say it had any eggs in it I ordered that. I get home 20 minutes later sit down to eat my food and realize after the first bite that there is a bunch of egg in it! I decided to give the place a call and ask if there was egg in the lo mein, the guy who answered said yes. I stated that it was not on the menu and he respond back, “we can’t list every ingredient.” DUDE there are like 7 ingredients in this dish and you list that there is egg in almost all of the other noodle dishes…..horrible response. He did offer a credit, no refund. Bad customer service and unfortunate they don’t list the ingredients on the menu!?! Very odd, especially for a very common allergy. Read moreI called in because there was a review on here saying that the egg rolls we're gluten free so I wanted to make sure before I ordered.. wellwell Appre they're not and when you call they can't answer why even though their menu claims that the envy platter which has egg rolls is. And the only response is I only take the orders I don't know why it is or isn't gluten free. The chef would have to answer that but no I won't ask them for you and if the online menu says the envy platter is gluten free it must be wrong (their menu apprently hasn't been changed in 5 years cause the review I read was from 2014). Needless to say, I will not be returning here and will more than likely reporting this establishment to the dallDa health inspector for mismarking of their menus. The food quality has noticeably declined, possibly due to a change in chefs, resulting in bland dishes. Unfortunately, service has never been a strong point, and the owner’s behavior—glaring at customers while they eat—creates an uncomfortable atmosphere.
Additionally, tips are automatically added to the check without clear notice, which raises legal concerns. Despite the receipt showing a ‘suggested tip amount,’ the practice of pre-adding tips is misleading. When I addressed this, the owner responded with a lecture about employee wages instead of addressing the issue.
