Tacos El Regio — Restaurant in Dallas

Hate to do this because I love the food here but this time around we had a really bad experience. We ordered our food and waited for a whole hour. When I saw other people getting there food I went to ask how long our food was going to take and I was told that they didn't even have a order in my name. It's extremely frustrating that this happened I told her to cancel my order because I wasn't planning to wait another hour for my food!! Worst part is that the lady came to ask the name on my order but never went to tell me that my order wasn't even there. She literally let me wait for another 20 minutes thinking she was gonna bring my food out. Maybe someone else should be taking orders because to wait a whole hour to be told my order isn't even there...

Loved the parking, it wasn’t busy and I was able to pull up right to door. Lady who helped me was amazing. Torta bread could been toasted with a little butter, but it’s a big pan 🥖. The Trompo was good but I like it just a tad crispier. But I’m picky about my tortas so this was good, not bad at all. I asked and paid for extra meat and cheese and they delivered so that was good. The fries were AWFUL tho. Like little overcooked canned fries that were crispy like chips. Awful. It ruined the meal and made it hard to enjoy the torta even tho it was tasty tbh. I won’t go back unless they make it right because $17 is cool but how are you gonna mess up my French fries???? French...

Great experience at Tacos El Regio. Family owned business with stellar customer service from Jenny. The food was delicious. I had the tacos de carne asada and my husband had the tacos Al vapor. Carne asada and grilled onions that accompanied them were cooked perfect. Makes sense since Jenny shared that dad was a butcher back home in Monterrey and is all about serving quality food. Tacos Al vapor come in order of 5 and you can mix/match between the three varieties-beans, carne desherbada with papa, and chicharrón. We missed to get a picture but will definitely be back to try the barbacoa they sell on...
