Definitely worth going out of the way. Quaint, owners likely will serve you. Lots of styles of beer. Opening Day of deer season I have to make a visit to the Valkyrie after dark. It was Oktoberfest when we visited and unfortunately it was SO BUSY that we were not able to enjoy the space, staff, or sample the selection of beer. We had to get in order a beer and get out due to the demands of the crowd. There was also only 1 bathroom in the brewery (with a line to the door) and 1 port-a-potty (with a line twice as long) at a beer festival with over 400 people! We will likely return another time to enjoy the brewery at a slower pace and experience because the beer we did...

This brewery is amazing! Unique vibe and such a friendly staff. The beer was delicious - they have such a variety. I drank the “snow maiden” and it was great. They have great prices and they encourage sampling- which was so fun! Family friendly - we brought our two kids (1 and 3) and they set up an outdoor table for us. Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to go...
