Employees were from the get go, rude, condescending, and had some kinda staring problem, not sure why, but we ordered some tacos to eat in, it was 🌮 Tuesday. The service was lagging, at least for us, they were rude, looked at you like your trash, I didn't appreciate anything about the experience, as it was completely disappointing. Had been there one time before but we thought we would not say anything as this was our 1st time there and the locals seemed to like it. But, I wasn't pleased at all, neither was my husband. I doubt I would ever go back here again unless they change hands. Customers should be doted over, taken care of promptly, and adequately. With a smile and good manners. The first time we tried it, it wasn't any better. I remember thinking how rude. But back in the area, decided to try again, I mean, who can mess up a taco right? That day? They did. I’ve been going here w my family for a couple years now and just like la rosita in Clinton this place is progressively going down hill. First off to the employees of this restaurant, I understand Spanish pretty good so before you start insulting your customers on their pronunciation of an item maybe you should make sure they don’t understand you. Second on our last few visits we never got a second glance after our food was brought, no refills no is everything good or do you need anything else. I’m a pretty religious 18 percent tipper so service in my opinion should be on par if you want that tip. I’m really disappointed that this place is going down hill, the food is wonderful but they must have forgotten that food is only half the experience when taking your family out and spending 100+ dollars on a meal. The atmosphere was laid back and relaxed. The service was attentive and prompt. Hot food was at our table before I knew it. I had grilled chicken tacos, rice, cheese dip with a sampling of their sauces. The rice was nice and fluffy with a good flavor. The grilled chicken tacos were absolutely amazing- the jalapeño sauce gave it an extra zing that made it sing. My absolute favorite was the Mango habanero sauce- was to die for- perfect balance of sweet and heat. Love that their chips can handle the stress of a chip-full of cheese or salsa without breaking.
