We visited here a few times this week (of Labor Day) while staying at the Red Fern Inn in Marblehead. Glad they were open as not much else was- as such, we came over for multiple meals, and referred other guests of the Inn here. The ambiance was the best part. Lots of seating near the docks The food: the menu seemed limited as I’m sure is common after Labor Day. The lobster roll- a good amount of lobster but lacking flavor overall. The perch fillet basket- good amount of food, perch was nicely, lightly battered, good flavor. The chicken tenders basket (as one evening the grill was closed) was fine, again, a nice amount of food. Didnt get to try the hamburger but another tables looked appetizing. Drinks: looked like a good amount of cocktail choices, we stuck to beer as we had to drive back down to Marblehead Restrooms were clean Overall, a few nice visits, would return

Smallish outdoor local watering hole. Service was top notch, plenty of seating, live music. Attached to a local marina so bring in your boat, dock and enjoy. Didn't have a chance to try the food, guess we gotta go back. FYI...use your GPS, this place is REALLY hidden, almost impossible to find! It is hidden, as named. But worth it!

⸻ I stopped here for lunch on a Friday in the summer, and surprisingly it wasn’t busy at all. The setup is simple, with bathrooms on the side of the shack, and the view of the water with all the boats is really nice. The food was decent—nothing fancy, but quick and easy if you just want a casual meal in a relaxing spot.

We were recommended to go to this restaurant by locals. The food was alright. They seemed busy, but there is no excuse to bring out one persons food and take another 35 minutes to get the rest of our food. In total our food took over an hour to come out. There were 5 of us and 3 of us ordered the same thing. We had to go up to the bar to ask for refills on all of our drinks. Our waitress seemed sweet, but seemed clueless to what she was doing, most of the night she stood in the back. 3 of us talked to other servers to figure out what was taking so long with our food. It definitely brought the rest of the night down for us. We were extremely disappointed that no one apologized or even tried to make it right. We weren't asking for a handout, but someone acknowledging us, our wait and the mistakes would have been nice. Having worked as a server in the past, there was no excuse for...

We were so excited to finally find it. Ordered a drink and looked at menu. Took very long time for drinks to be delivered. We immediately told waitress we would like to order food. She said she was sorry the kitchen just closed. Went on to apologize. Stating she wish she knew we wanted food and she could have put that in with our drink order. The only issue I have is why didn't she let us know kitchen was closing knowing by time she got back with drink order it would be closed. She never asked about food or made us aware. Very poor service so what the time. We will try again not that we...
