Schrank's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Danbury

Waitress was really sweet and nice, however I was very disappointed with the food. I had never been there before everyone in my group raved about this place. Menu was average bar food which was not a big deal. I did want to try their prime Rib. It came with an option of a side I choose the salad. It took almost 50 minutes for us to get our food, I will say we did have a party of 8 but I still feel that 50 mins was a bit excessive. When I got my prime Rib it was 1/3 grissle and unediable fat. It was also tough and definitely the worst cut of prime Rib I have ever had. The salad was a joke a tiny bowl of cut up iceburg lettuce with a few very small very tiny crushed up crutons. I did eat the entire part of the meat that was edible as for I was very hungry. Another person in my group took the grissle and fat home to her animals. I am not sure if I just got a bad cut on an off night, but I do know if I would ever return I will stick with their burgers which did look good. No I did not complain or say anything because the staff was great and I understand sometimes things happen. Ordered food from phone number given on website, Unknowing it was the direct number to Danbury location! When answered no one identified which location it was so we made our order. Found out about the error upon picking up at Sloan location! The gentleman who gave me any food wanted to charge me for both orders! I refused citing it was a simple mistake! I was really bored tonight so I loaded up my dog and decided to hit some back roads through some neighboring towns. BOY DID IT PAY OFF!!
