The reputation of a business is significantly based on their customer service and respect towards customers. While I'm sure their food may be decent (I wouldn't know as I was provided wrong order), their customer service was horrendous. I would honestly recommend this place be shut down for fraudulent marketing. I bought a stromboli from this location and they managed to not only make the wrong order, but then blame us saying, "You should have known that's what you were ordering." Actually, I ordered exactly what was advertised on the website, but you chose to "upgrade" the stromboli in an attempt to get more money and not tell us, hoping we wouldn't complain. On top of that, this company admitted that they don't make their strombolis. They come pre-made and they just throw them in the oven. That is absolutely disgusting and the worst business model for a pizzeria. Who knows what else comes pre-made. Now, not only will you lose my business, you will lose other's business who see this review, as well as you will not receive a single dime from me for this order.
Edit: Funny, it's not a misconception when called back and you clearly stated you can't make a sausage Stromboli because it's not on the menu. If you made it from scratch, like you claim to, then you could have easily made a sausage and cheese Stromboli. Yet you claimed that you can't make it because it's not an option on the menu. I hope you record all your phone calls, because you may want to re-listen to it since you clearly don't remember what you said. Not my problem though, it's yours when you can't admit you were wrong for ringing up the wrong order. Oh and I don't have a son, so nice making...

While on a day trip to Danville, VA my friend visiting from New York via Dominican Republic wanted to get some food after a great walk. The restaurant we initially planned on visiting happened to be closed on president’s day, so I chose the next top rated, and closest option. Upon walking into the establishment we were directed to seat ourselves and someone would tend to us shortly.
We began with appetizers of mozzarella sticks and french fries (prolly about an 6-8 minute wait after ordering). The mozzies and fries were hot and very well seasoned. To my friend’s preference (and I agree to an extent) the fries would have benefitted from being a touch crispier. Nonetheless, they were presented well, tasted great, and were worth their price!
When it came to ordering our main dishes, my friend ordered a small Hawaiian I pizza and I ordered a large meat calzone. We were not disappointed. As our host Jennifer mentioned, the dough was indeed excellent. The pizza was flavorful and piping hot. The calzone the same—and a large it was. No cap. It was at least 18” in length and packed with a great balance of cheese and meat, with a good amount of pure, not too oily, perfectly crispy yet moist dough.
This was an experience. The experience was definitely amplified by a great waitress, great company, and a fairly quiet time due to the holiday and during-work-hours time that we visited, but without a doubt this was a good time and we ate well.

Read moreI always get the steak and cheese subs either just the sub or the meal. However I'm not a fan of the French fries at this location. Many times they've been under-cooked and not a good brand of potatoes used to make them or something. They taste generic with no flavor, adding salt and ketchup doesn't even help. This is why I started getting just the sub. Also they are unlike other restaurants that gladly remake your food if they messed up your order for free, not here they only offer a 10% discount on your next order which leaves a dissatisfied customer and seems down right greedy. I've never encountered this return or refund policy at any other restaurants locally or out of state. I guess if you're going to get food from Medo's your best bet is to dine in so if it's not what or how you ordered it you have the option to leave on the table and go elsewhere that appreciates their customers and give the other place your hard earned money. Sorry to say it like this but it's the true facts that's happened more than once here. I do not live far from them so it's convenient for me if not for that I'd skip...
