Man! I know people have had good experience here, but I can only speak on my experience today which was sub par on too many levels. I got the Mississippi Chicken sausage(1st pic) & beef polish combo(2nd pic). Both were overcooked, dry and visually upsetting. The fries were overly greasy. I know food truck fries can be a bit greasy but this was really greasy. The sheen on them told the story. I had to go home & fry them again to make them edible. Back to the sausage & polish. They should have never been served looking like that! The dark bit taken off in the pic tells the story that it's half of a link & it was hard & inedible. The polish was shriveled, peeling & dehydrated. Its obvious that they were cooked a while ago and were sitting in a warmer for hours. And why on a piece of bread and not a bun? I guess it's their thing. The sauce is good though! The potato salad is alright. For as long as i waited, @ least the polish could've been made fresh. Lesson to the wise, people can wait for fresh food, ijs. I'd rather give a good review, but today I honestly can't. I WILL definitely go back because this is probably an isolated incident. Going back for some turkey tips for sure to try em out because they were sold out or unavailable, and I will give the chicken sausage another try earlier in the day. I thought combos come with a drink, but nah, it should be noted on menu unless I missed it. Update on my next visit soon to come...

The best whole hog pulled pork and bbq chicken in the state imo. I am East NC born and raised and a veteran of many “pig pickins”. I know good bbq, Off The Bone” , they know it too, like few other.

Found this place off the side of the road and I am sure glad we pulled in! Wow! I don't even have a picture to show how delicious the food was because we couldn't stop eating it! The pull pork was spot on! Delicious and smokey! Rib chunks were so tender! I don't even know how to describe the beans! They are sweet but smell spicy! I have never had beans like these! They were absolutely delicious! If you are passing by or in the area and want some delicious authentic BBQ, make sure to stop here! You won't be...

I don't typically leave reviews but the pulled pork at Off The Bone BBQ is so good I felt compelled to leave one. The sauce and the pork were absolutely amazing oand they were a match made in heaven. If I could offer one word if advice though, get rid of the cheap grocery store buns and order some brioche buns from a local bakery. It will complement your perfect pork and sauce. Thank you for the phenomenal experience. I look forward to trying the brisket on...
