Shannie's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Danville

Visit one - 2 weeks ago: Burgers are huge and good. Dallas was an excellent server/bartender. Very reasonably priced. Onion petals were awesome. We will go back.

Visit 2 - today: so the food takes forever. We thought we'd be smart and order everything at the same time, clearly stating the three appetizers and then saying "for our entrees we will have..." Probably a mistake, but I thought if we got our apps in 20 or so, the burgers would only be another 20 mins. Wrong. Apps came out 2 minutes before burgers (around 35 minutes total). And these are very quickly fried apps. Much to my dismay, they were cold. We will still go back, but I think its worth noting the wait times are LONG and should be considered, especially with hungry...

It's a bar with a grill/kitchen, let's get that out of the way, not a bad thing, not don't take kids, but don't go expecting a chiljis style bar and grille. If you want a burger they have them, and they're very good and decent sized with some unique options, I got the Shannie's. The bartender was friendly enough service prompt. Place seemed clean, you can tell it's had some history. If I'm in the area around lunchtime it'll be high...

My husband and I randomly stopped this afternoon. We were not disappointed at all. BEST burger I have ever had! Pam cooked them, brought them to us, made sure we were happy with everything.. Great staff. Great music and drinks. KK was our bartender and she was sweet and attentive. We are already planning on coming back Saturday for the live music. That’s saying a lot about this place because it is over an hour...
