Food is good. Menu stays same and is not extensive so you'll find items you like or not quickly. Their Roost Egg on English muffin is our family's favorite though I prefer without cheese. If order a non-grilled or not-hot type sandwiches, request it made fresh (they're better & less likely to be bread soggy) as pre-made ones are available from grab & go display with salad choices. Most folks opt for pick-up & take-out. Few tables. Seating area bright & clean. Counter help could be friendlier as several of extended family have expressed this same sentiment. Owners Krista and Mike are such fun and adorable, but also, expert at cuisine! Just recently, I was so impressed with what I thought would be a basic egg, or turkey sandwich. Instead I got bliss! Not an ordinary deli, but, full-on restaurant quality. Perfect for pick up!! This time I ordered fresh, whipped eggs, grilled bacon on a light, fluffy muffin, and a few hours later I ate a lean turkey sandwich with avocado, succulent roasted onions and onion jam! Most disappointing

Our Town’s Planning & Zoning Comm has already handicapped this start-up by saying they can only have 8 seats for diners. I guess Darien doesn’t want people to sit while they eat?

Sandwich selection is extensive but the three I’ve had so far have just been “meh”: Korean BBQ was just hot roast beef, White Bean Hummus was mostly vegetables and pre-packed Fresh Turkey was on nice bread but wouldn’t pass muster w our Health Inspector.
