Rod and Becky- love you guys. It is so good to have you in the neighborhood.

The lines are long here for a couple of reasons: 1) It's probably lunch time when you go there and 2) their food is that good. Do yourself a favor and download their menu from their website and call in your order. They will appreciate it and your wait time will be reduced in half.

As for the comments about rude staff, I know that when they are slammed, tempers can get short but I'm sure that it's not directed at any one specific person unless they are deserving of it. Besides that, anyone can have a bad day and deserve a second chance.

They have catered lunches and events for us (Globe Motors) in the past, and there is never any complaints about the food except why didn't I get one of those brownies. You snooze - you lose!

Do not order from this establishment online around the lunch time hour. I placed an order at 11:50 am 1/29/25. I called at 12:30 pm to see where my order was as I am only 2 miles away. A female answered and stated it would be picked up at 11:55 am I told her it is 12:30 pm now and that i submitted a delivery order online 45 minutes ago. The female had no explanation and proceeded to tell me not to place an order online for an "hour delivery" ...whatever the hell that means. I told the female i didn't do that I ordered at 11:50 am for delivery right now. The female stated he's back there making it now; delivery will be picked up at"12:55PM" and then hung up on me. This will be the last time I ever order from this place. It's rather shocking to have a whole bunch of "rave" reviews yet as a customer I felt like I was dealing with a hole in the wall ghetto establishment with the way I was treated today. I also never got my money back for the canceled order because of this issue so I put in a dispute...

Try Charlie's Deli at 429 Troy Street in Dayton, Ohio. The sandwiches are worth the trip. Small store front with a Deli in the back plus a dining area. A very unlikely place with great food. Large variety of made to order sandwiches hot, fresh & delicious. Best BLT sandwiches around. They're very generous with the meat. Excellent Yipee-Ki-Yay Beef, Swiss Cheese, Mushrooms, Horseradish sauce! Ask for extra hot if you want a kick. The Corned Beef Ruben melts in your mouth. No kidding. Order your sandwiches the way you want them. You can call your order in for pick up, or you can order at the Deli. $$$ runs from $5.00-$10.00 depending what you order & what you add to your order.
