Chopstix in Dayton, NV has the most horrible customer service you could possibly imagine, I would not waste my time.
I have been a loyal customer for over 4 years, and have only dealt with their food being, inconsistently good, because they delivered to my house. However, I would not go so far as to say it is incredibly horrible food (given that I have still ordered from them) although it was much better before the new management.
P.S. the food quality and customer service has greatly gone down hill once the new management came into place. The women who always answers the phone, hardly knows english, therefore it takes a long time to place your order (because you have to repeat it over and over again). Not only that, but it is not uncommon for the order to be incorrect. Granted, I always order a lot of food (but that is still no excuse on the business end)
The last few times I have called to place my delivery order, the women will only sometimes deliver and at other times not deliver... (I guess based off her mood, lol). She will say I live too far when she doesn't want to.
Now keep in mind that I have been having them deliver at least once to twice a month consistently for 4 years now. Needless to say... They will not be getting my business anymore.
I guess trying to place tonights order was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Keep it up Chopsticks and you won't have...
Read moreI have been to this establishment 3 times now and the food was pretty good the first couple of times however my experience this week was very disappointing. I had the sweet and sour three delight lunch plate. The food came out quickly and i noticed the chicken on top the breading was a little tough, as I proceeded the vegetables mostly carrots were not cooked and hard and crunchy. I got to the middle of the plate where the shrimp were and they were so tough I could not cut them with my fork as the breading was like rubber. By this time I had ate a fair part of my meal and felt too late to say anything. However later in the day my stomach felt like I had a brick was in it and it was that last food I felt like eating for the rest of day. It seemed the breading had been refrozen at least a couple of times. I should has said something however I generally do not complain. After some further thought I have to admit this was the worst sweet and sour I have EVER had I have had sweet and sour TV dinners that were better than this. No quality control or interest it what was put out! Next time it's back to the Bamboo Garden for me better quality food and much more consistent. i wondered why these reviews were so high. Yelp seems to reflect a more accurate description of this...
Read moreSo, about 6 mo ths ago this place shut down, and opened up again under new ownership. The old Chopstux was a place I would rate in the negatives if I could, unsafe food, poor service, bad prices. The new Chopstix is amazing. They make most of their food fresh, from scratch ( very uncommon with Chinese food since SERCO started selling premade Chinese to vendors) and its refreshing. The prices are amazing for what you get, and eating here is reminiscent of eating Chinese food back in the 80s. The fried rice and chow mein are abundant in veggies and meats, the generals chicken is spicy and has peppers in the sauce. And the Hostess is incredibly polite, efficient, and such an upgrade from the old Chopstix staff. If you haven't been in a while, stop by during the week ( the food suffers some when they are really busy) and order your favorite. I'm sure it won't disappoint. I'd give 5 stars if they managed to maintain food quality when they're busy. The food was good, but not amazing the one time I've gone in while...
