I’ve never had a better Apple fritter in my life. This shop has the BEST breakfast for pre-hike carbs. The inside isn’t particularly pleasant but it’s more a grab-n-go style place anyways.

The Apple fritters are extremely flavorful and have a wonderful balance of crispy and softness where it matters. Always must get every time we come here.

The spicy sausage kolaches are also extremely delicious. I wish they were spicier, but in this area it’s probably the spiciest thing within a 50 mile radius. The pastry they use for these kolaches are the best I’ve found within 60 miles of this place and it’s delicious!

Have been a customer for several years @ DeLeon Donuts. First, shop is always clean, well lit, & appealing, full display of items for sale. Secondly, the owner, & other staff have & remain super, & genuinely friendly. She always has a smile & a great "Hello". And always remembers me personally when I enter in the shop! Lastly, their donuts & other breakfast food items are ALWAYS warm, recently prepared, & delicious. Hands down the softest, chewiest, best jalapeño-sausage kolache I have ever had. I also got an apple fritter. I have never liked apple fritters, so I don't know why I chose it, but I would drive the two hours back to DeLeon to have another. There was a small line when I got there which I can only attribute to the small size of Deleon. If this where in the metroplex, the line would be out the door. Great...
