Incredibly rude employees working today 12/30/24 at 12:50 pm!! One girl taking the drive thru orders repeated orders back incorrectly to both the two vehicles in front of me as well as me. She seemed to be upset when we had to raise our voices and enunciate more clearly so she could get the orders right (mine was still wrong). When I got to the window she told me it was loud inside so she couldn’t hear. I told her I could tell then asked politely for some ketchup and my receipt. There was a boy working getting the orders bagged and he said very loudly “nuh-uh Courtney she’s ugly I got this” and brought my food to the window and told me “your day needs to get better because you’re treating us bad” and slammed the window shut before I could ask again for the ketchup and my receipt. He stood on the other side of the window shaking his finger and saying “No. No. No.” When I blew my horn to get their attention since waving didn’t do the trick, the first girl said she just wants her ketchup, and opened the window and dropped a handful of ketchup packets at me, some of which ended up in my hand. I never got a receipt. These employees do not need to be in a customer facing role at any employer. I absolutely regret choosing Jacks today, especially this location, and after this I will not...

As promised to the manager at the jacks here- I would let them know what I thought. I am a truck driver and I just want to start by saying I am grateful for the parking they have. It’s always a huge boon to have a nice place to sleep. As for the food? The burger was more or less what I expected. It WAS good. I won’t lie and say outstanding, but it was visually well put together, the ingredients used were fresh, and it tasted pretty damned good (especially for the price, I expected much less). It was the FRIES (that the manager specifically recommended) that were the real kicker. I have never had fries seasoned that way, and while they looked like normal crinkle cut fries- they were a step ABOVE. Popcorn flavored was 100% a good move, and as with the burger they were fresh! I can’t speak much to the atmosphere because I didn’t dine in, but the lot and outside were clean and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful! will certainly recommend to any of my truck driver friends who may pass through the Decatur area and I will definitely be parking here on my excursions through Alabama as well :) thanks...

Everywhere I checked said that this jacks location opened at 4am, even the signs on the doors. Despite that fact, they didn’t open up until after 4:15am when I called them to inquire if they were open and if so unlock the doors so that a friend could stop in to pick us up biscuits. They then proceeded to cuss, complain, and talk negatively about me in the open, which I know because I was on the phone with the friend I requested they open the doors for and heard them through his microphone.

I don’t mind small inconveniences and such, but I think it was highly uncalled for that the employees decided to badmouth customers just because we expected the store to be open at the listed hours and call to inquire.
