The Lie'brary — Restaurant in Delapre Township

My wife and I have been there twice in the past two weeks on a Monday since they have $5 burger nights on Mondays. The first time my wife and I ordered the same thing, Jalapeno Burger with waffle fries, we agreed that both burger and fries were very good. We sat at the bar and the bartender/barmaid was friendly and service was good. We went there again last night (on a Monday), ordered some wings as an app and a couple burgers, my wife got the same as last time and I tried the Philly Burger and regular crinkle cut fries. Service was OK but we waited longer than we should have for the wings but they were decent when we did get them. The burger/fries came out almost immediately behind the wings and were hot but WELL DONE and both of our fries were over cooked to the point of being burnt. My wife said something to one of the bartenders about the fries and he said he'd send out a fresh batch, they never came. My wife then asked our main server/bartender about the burgers being over done and he told us the person cooking in the back wasn't their regular cook, they only cook every "6 months or so". They did take $1 off each of our burgers and for the price I can't complain too much but we also got charged $1.50 for two sides of mayo and a ranch cup, if we didn't have mayo on the burgers they would have been way too dry to eat. So I am split on the review of this place, the first time the food and service was very good but the second time really turned me off and I'm not sure how likely I am to go back. One thing to add is that both times we were there (6:00 - 7:00) there were no more than 15 customers in the place so it was not like the cook was too...

My friend and I went for a couple drinks and a bite to eat earlier this evening, and Missy was our server. I normally love the liebrary and am the last one to write a negative review, but when we got our tabs I let just a few dollars because she was extremely rude to us tonight like when we got our food and my friend asked for one ranch she huffed and made sly comments under her breath like she she wish she would have known sooner and now she won’t charge her but she stated it was $0.50 for ranch so when she came back my friend got a could dollars out because missy left in such a hostile mood rolling her eyes.

Along with a few other things she just over all extremely poor service, the last thing that got me, which had me In awe that I just couldn’t ignore was I filled out my check for $3 tip because I never leave without tipping, but she was bad. I went to the restroom fast while my friend was filling out her check, I come back to the table about to leave and Missy comes right up to my face and goes “Is this a joke?? $3? This HAS to be a joke” very in my face and guilt tripping me and my friend… SO she prints off a new receipt, throwing my $3 tip and receipt and says “here you go.” And watches me and pressures me to do more.

My friend and I were so uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. She is the Worst server I ever have had in my life and now you just lost...
