We Enjoyed a late Monday afternoon lunch of delicious pizza 🍕 . Liked it so much we brought a chicken parm sub home for dinner. Loved the location and enjoyed watching a horse run around in the field across the street. Restaurant was so clean and had plenty of seating in multiple dining rooms, had great drink selections(a variety of Stewart products- birch beer, root beer, cream soda) and many menu Options. Pizza was really good with great flavored sauce and cheese blend. The chicken parm had diced, breaded chicken cutlet so it was easy to eat. Chicken was tender with great sauce and generous amount of cheese. The owner Ralph was very helpful and we received great service.

Everything I've tried here is awesome. After living in South Philly for years I will say that their pizza is one of the absolute best I've ever had. I highly recommend Maria Rosa. Here's the meatball parm I had yesterday.

Great food. I am a delivery driver and came across this spot and the food was phenomenal. It is well over an hour away from where I live and we are considering driving all the way to try them out again. 10/10

Maria Rosa is probably my favorite Italian restaurant, hands down. Their pizza is delicious, with an excellent New York-style crust and fresh toppings. The food is affordable, the staff very friendly, and the BYOB alcohol policy gives you plenty of options for setting the mood: the decor won't do it for you, but that's part of the charm. In fact, this is the only restaurant I've been to that makes its complete lack of any major aesthetics work really well. It's neutral, and because of that, it can be a romantic date night (fine vintage), a place to chow down after a hunting trip (sixer of beer), or a post-church meet-up (Snapple from their fridge) all...

A hidden gem. This place should be packed every Friday and Saturday night. The entrees are as good as the Brooklyn pie which might be the best pizza I have ever had. Whenever my son and I are working in the area we order one. This is a must for pizza lovers. The three pizza ingredients are all top notch. The cheese has a salty flavor that pairs excellent with the most flavorful, fresh tasting, perfectly seasoned tomato sauce. The crust is crispy but chewy with great flavor, a rare find anywhere. We also tried their meatballs and they are up there with the best we have tried, tender and seasoned just right. Great job Mike...
