We came in on a Sunday evening and it was completely empty, no host, and no greeting. I had to ask bar patrons if the kitchen was even open. A woman from the bar politely seated us, but service was very slow considering we were the only table. It took over 10 minutes just to get waters, and once we ordered, our server was nearly impossible to flag down again.

When the food arrived, things got worse. I ordered the Mediterranean steak salad expecting feta, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach on a bed of greens. Instead, it came overloaded with random veggies like carrots, broccoli, and peppers—misleading from the menu—and only a tiny portion of overcooked steak. The second meal, a steak burger, was completely charred and tasted like burnt grill. The fries were undercooked, soggy, and greasy—like something from a concession stand.

We mentioned to the waitress that the food wasn’t what we expected, and she showed no concern at all—just asked if we wanted anything else. No apology, no ownership. We both left most of our meals untouched.

Then came the final insult: the bill. Over $60 for two entrees, an appetizer, and waters—with a surprise $6.50 upcharge for fries that weren’t even that great. The restaurant’s ambiance didn’t justify the prices either: dated decor, dim lighting, and an overall lack of care or character.

Now we understand why we were the only diners there. Poor food, indifferent service, and inflated pricing left us feeling taken advantage of. We walked out frustrated and honestly stunned by how bad the entire experience was.

I wish someone had warned us. I have no idea how this place still has high Google reviews—but I hope this one helps someone else avoid the...

I used to eat there all the time before the fire, and this was the 3rd time i returned to eat dinner with my wife since they reopened. Let me tell you, i WON'T be eating there ever again. I ordered a side of garlic bread and the waitress told me that we dont make that. Tell me how hard would it be to put some butter and garlic on bread and toast it?? Your supposed to be a restaurant. Then i ordered the french onion soup, well let me tell you. Nothing french about it. the cheese was melted in a microwave not toasted like other places do it and the soup had no flavor. Ok, then i ordered the boneless chicken breast rolled up around their "homemade" stuffing with chicken gravy. I didn't want the chicken gravy on it, i wanted to substitute it with alfredo sauce instead, and i was told it would be an extra 8 bucks to switch the sauce! For the 2 tablespoons of sauce that they put on it, you would think they were handing out sea rations. the chicken was dry as hell and the stuffing tasted like stove top. The waitress had on this perfume that she probably thought it was a million dollars a bottle that stunk so bad i was getting stomach cramps and i thought i was going to throw up. They did the place up nice since the fire, but i liked it better when connie was cooking. I personally don't like there food and would suggest you spend your good...

On Sunday the July 27 a group of 6 went for lunch at 2 o'clock. Upon arriving 1 person ordered a Bloody Mary drink, only to be told they didn't have any. Her husband ordered a draft beer, told they don't have draft beer, and was given a bottled beer. The beer tasted "Skunky" and he noticed it was outdated. Waitress brought back another bottle. I ordered a pounder hamburger. As instructed on the menu, I asked if it was available, to which the waitress assured me it was. 2 people at our table ordered steak burgers. Later, the waitress came back and said "since 2 people after you ordered hamburgers, we don't have enough to make your pounder hamburger so would like a regular burger. So, I ordered the Chicken breast platter. Out came 2 very small chicken beasts with dried out filling covered in gravy. My baked potato was tiny, covered in butter. Definitely not worth the $16.99 price. The waitress told my wife if she had a choice of chips or fries. She ordered the fries...only to be charged for them. No apologies of any kind for the inconvenience. You'd think being a bar/restaurant they would have the necessary supplies to serve their guests. I can maybe chalk it up to a bad experience after the bloody mary but, then 2 more incidents after I can only assume that it's poor management. Will I go there again probably not. 3 strikes...
