Broadkill Store — Restaurant in Delaware

I tell you what broad kill Beach is is the best beach there is as of water it's like you being in Jamaica now I'm giving up my hotspot for people to know where there's something great this place I'll drive three and a half hours just to go there for an hour just to swim into something that's that's great dolphins you can see them the water is warm so warm but I do have to admit the horseshoe flies they are bad when it comes to about 4:30 in the afternoon that's when they come out or sometimes when there's a horseshoe crabs around crabs run across the beach it's beautiful they don't bother you and the time you spent there family oriented and if you love somebody very much in your life I would suggest taking them there too this is not Atlantic City it's not Wildwood but I tell you what what they have is fine but broad killed beach has nothing but a peach and I think from the years and years that I went to all these places I have settled up on broadfield Beach and while you're there stopping at the store they got great cheesesteaks they got ice cream it's a Nick and nac and by the way if you're a fisherman or you love to...

We live in Milton and our daughter just bought a house at Broadkill Beach. We stopped in the Broadkill Store to get some lunch and found out they were making pizza. We are originally from Brooklyn, NY, so we are very fussy about our pizza. We ordered a cheese pizza and it was the best basic cheese pizza we've had in DE since moving to DE in 1996. This is a great community store and the people are warm and friendly and they know how to make a NY pizza. The nice thing for us is we only live 10 minutes away. I used to go to the Broadkill Store when I was a kid. My father would take us surf fishing on the beach, the store was our goto for sandwiches, ice, bait and tackle. Fast fwd 30+ years later and I find myself back at the store. I own a business now and was down to Broadkill giving estimates to my customers. I stopped by to find a familiar face running the store. A friendly conversation and a few minutes later I was headed back to my office with lunch for our staff. Great subs, store is fully stocked with plenty of beach going supplies.
