Chicken And Pizza (Halal) — Restaurant in Delaware

We don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was so outrageous we couldn’t stay silent. We went to Chicken and Pizza around 10:00 PM and saw the “Today’s Special: Chicken Biryani” sign. We asked the staff if it was available—he said he needed to check, came back, and confirmed they had it. So we ordered one.

Big mistake.

What we got was a complete insult. They charged us $13.99 for what can only be described as garbage: a reheated, tasteless, bland excuse for biryani made up of two bones and a dry, stale chicken breast that tasted like it had been sitting there for hours. No flavor. No freshness. No care.

The worst part? This place claims to be halal. If this is their idea of halal, they clearly have no clue what that word even means—ethically or religiously. He could’ve been honest and said they were running low or it wasn’t fresh. But no—he knowingly served us the scraps just to pocket the money. That’s not just bad service, that’s straight-up dishonest and unethical.

This is not how you treat paying customers, and it’s definitely not how you run a halal business. Absolutely disgraceful. We will never return and strongly advise others to stay far away...

Okay, the fact that this place is open so late in an area where hardly anything is open late besides fast food got me there! When I went in there the place was pristine, like ridiculously clean looking. Had my food ready, and literally made to order quickly! I looked over their menu while waiting and they have ALOT! For more than reasonable prices. I literally paid 10.98 for a drink and the platter. The only thing I would recommend to change is no pickles n black olives in the salad lol, I can do black olives but not pickles wasn’t expecting that at all. But the fact that it is real Taziki sauce and they put huge pieces of grilled pita was the best!!! I grabbed some banana pudding and even that tasted fresh and delicious. The two gentlemen up from were really pleasant and very nice. I said I’d be back n I’m sure they hear it a lot but they won my business! I’m gonna try their lamb gyro pizza next!!!! absolutely delicious ..the best gyro I've ever had hands down 😳wow‼️ and Ive had em off the steets of NYC.. AC and some good 1s but theses are in a league if their own.dills my stomach for $10..chicken and lamb are my fav ..I hear the goat meats great n have to try it still...the owner is so friendly and they have real Italian ice and I'm from the Jersey shore where it's like$2.50 + per scoop but it's only $1 per scoop here ..and you get a nice portion for the $ on everything here...my 1st experience with halal too..all's I can say is I'm hooked and such great flavors I highly recommend to anyone who wants their belly full n content after enjoying a mouth orgasm..lol...without breaking your wallet...2 people will definitely be satisfied for with a gyro and Italian ice each for under $30...
