I moved from Wilmington to Townsend and really missed Woodside Creamery; now that I know about Cowgirl’s, “it” is way closer! Set up is solid (most of the waiting line is under an outdoor roof; one window takes orders, one window delivers your ice cream, plenty of outdoor seating and scenery, could go picnic style too), of course the ice cream is delicious with a wide variety of flavors; it’s locally homemade ice cream. Cups, cake cones, sugar cones, waffle cones. Simple pricing. Only ice cream.
The parking lot is a bit small so many patrons had to park on the roadway.
Overall, great experience, will be back multiple times...

Very hard to explain. It is definitely worth the visit a nice area to sit. If you have corn fields...
