Los Mayas Restaurant — Restaurant in Delaware

We went for an early dinner and were surprised by the decline in the quality of food. My husband had the burrito seafood. There was very little shrimp. I had the chiori pollo. The chicken was tough and overcooked. I sent it back and asked for just chorizo with the cheese sauce. That was better. When we git the bill I thought there might be an adjustment, but no. I asked if there would be a discount and was told no. Do they not know that there is a very good competetor about a mile away? Usually wait staff will check their guests to see if everything was satisfactory. Not here. I had to go to the kitchen door and knock because he was too busy socializing in the kitchen. Sadly...

Ate here 4 times in the past 3 weeks when visiting from California. Is a smaller family owned business and cozy apon arrival. The food is fantastic, great flavor and the portions are large. I love the texas fajitas , had them 3 of the 4 trips. Their nachos and tacos are great also. Also, every item on the menu is basicly 20$ or less.. Ordered takeout nachos and tacos to watch during the football game last thursday and Ashley did a fantastic job for me; She is friendly and took her time to make sure my order was complete, as well as Packaged up all my sauces and toppings seperately exactly as requested..really cant go wrong w/ Los Mayas! Give em a try..They make a helluva...

I called in today to place an order and the young lady the was taking my order needs better customer service training. I asked her to please explain to be about their stuffed jalapeños and she acted as if it she had an attitude and as if I was dumb as she explain all I wanted to know if it was with bacon fried etc. 2. After placing my order I asked could I pay over the phone and she says pay when you get here I said so there’s no option to pay over the phone she then huffed and then it got quiet so I let her know to cancel my whole order.
