Love it!! Best in the area for seafood. Don't waste your time looking around for fresh seafood in this area it doesn't exist!! This area is not known from good eats, any cuisine at all. But if you're here on purpose or by accident and are in the need of some seafood healing.. Pleasontans is the go to place. Fish sandwiches awesome! Fried shrimp awesome! Collard greens except one time it wasn't on point but over all awesome! Seafood salad, soups and fresh crabs awesome! If your a HANGRY kind of person don't get the order of fries it's super super small and for the price it doesn't add up. So if you have to have fries buy 2 orders. Pleasontans staff is great! They lie about having crabs they do not have. It’s simple, if you don’t have crabs to sell do not lie on the phone to customers or sell over the amount that you have. They have done this multiple times to myself and family and they are unapologetic about it. Secondly, when I bought large crabs they gave me small crabs and pretended as if I did not place an order for large ones. They have a habit of making you look stupid and this is not the first time. My husband and I stopped there first time and got steamed crabs and some fish from them, and it turned out to be a very pleasant experience at Pleasanton’s! Crabs were so fresh we could smell the ocean water from them. Customer service was excellent, lady behind the counter was very helpful and knowledgeable and knew exactly what we wanted.. other staff members were great too! Another fact that made it very comfortable for us was that they were letting only one customer at a time in the store and everyone was wearing a mask, which was very important for us as we are seniors and don’t want to take an unnecessary chance these day.
