If I could rate this zero stars, I would. We walk in at 6:30ish on a Saturday... and the place is empty (with a mild funk). This should have been clue number one, but whatever, sometimes I like to prance through a whole garden of red flags. My family was all going there together... and yet we had to sit at separate tables. I get it, sometimes you don't have the capacity for large groups... but a table of 7 should have been able to be put together. There wasn't even an offer to push a couple tables together. But again... whatever. It's not that big of a deal.

The next thing I notice is the plethora of filthy, crumpled dollar bills pinned to the CEILING above the bar. My grandmother asks the waitress WHY!? And she says "That's our curse jar." You know... that's funny, maybe even endearing. If these stripper singles were not pinned to the CEILING above the BAR SURFACE where food and drinks are served. Shudder. Gag. Existential dread sets in.

Appetizers come out... and they are wrong. Waitress takes them away... and brings back the right ones that are mediocre at best. Either way, she pretty much set 20$ on fire because she put in the wrong order. I get it, it happens. And I actually wouldn't put it past this hole to just serve them up to someone else after reheating them.. Gross.

This place says it is a BAR AND GRILL. So I order a steak. Same thing as my dad. They bring out this 10oz ribeye... and it is easily 6oz of fat. JUST fat. Huge hunks of fat. Didn't even cook down fat. FAT. I expected some fat, some marbling. It's a Ribeye. I'm not a moron. But more of this steak was pure fat than it was meat. I'd have been horrified if a cut like that ever made it to a customer! My dad's steak is fatty, but not as much.

My fiance orders a quesadilla... can't mess that up, right? RIGHT!? They brought him 2 mealy chicken tacos (also full of fat!!!) and there was about a nickel sized amount of cheese on ONE of the "quesadillas." The guacamole was slimy and runny, the lettuce was wilted. Gross... He didn't eat it and insisted his stomach was just feeling off. From the one bite he took... I WONDER WHY!?

My grandmother's fries were WET. The beers were piss warm... And when any of this was brought to the attention of our inattentive waitress (who made a point to tell us she was 27, despite how young she looks)... she just looked awkwardly and shuffled about. No offer to make it right, nothing. No manager to be found. You know what... at 27, you should know how to handle something like this. This is day one of waitress training. And, just to note, we still tipped her well.

You actually couldn't pay me to crawl back into this dingy, mildew riddled hole of a "restaurant." Eating Taco Bell off of the sidewalk probably would have been more satisfying. Actually, I'm pretty sure I have sat on a curb and eating street truck meat with less revolting fat...

OH AND DID i MENTION THE FLIES!? FLIES EVERYWHERE! All over the food, all over the table, all over EVERYTHING! The bathroom was apparently FULL OF THEM, but I just held it until I got home for fear of what atrocity existed within the walls of that...

This was my last trip here. I’ve tried numerous times, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast experience today: ordered online at 0930; arrived at 0945 told order was being “worked on “ and after asking again at 0950, I learned that the cook was just starting my order and had only now recognized the ticket that was sitting for 20 minutes!! The photo below shows a hard, broken biscuit tied with a very dry sausage patty and a fried egg (which is the only thing that she had to cook). I threw it in the garbage where it belonged. While waiting, I heard the staff openly complain, no less than 20 times about being “short staffed”. There was an older waitress helping the cook, who screwed up at least three orders while waiting. I was told by this cook that although I ordered at 0930, the ticket didn’t supposedly print until 0950, although the older waitress was able to view my order and confirmed it with her when I came in at 0945. She made the statement “Sorry about your luck”. Past experiences include waiting for lunch service with my brother until we got up and left, and several dining experiences with my wife that were similar in wait times, with NO ONE ELSE THERE. Very sad. I won’t be back. I even had a waitress that claimed to have worked there for forty years stated “we ain’t going anywhere”, when I voiced concern over the restaurants...

AWFUL MANAGEMENT! My husband broke his tooth on a burger! Couldn't even get someone to call us back!!! My husband is a Veteran and all he wanted for veterans day was a hamburger. So we ordered one from R & R. On his 3rd bite he freaked out after biting into something hard and breaking his tooth right in half! I immediately called the restaurant. The manager was called (by Amber who was actually nice) and I was told he was too busy and would "call tomorrow" I stated that I would prefer call back that night which never happened. I also did not receive a call the next day so I called and still didn't receive a call back but was instead treated rudely by staff. Called again the next day and still with no response, and finally gave up. I can't believe they literally were not concerned and didn't even want to know what happened. That is SCARY. Oh and to top it all off they had a BOGO promotion going on that they didn't even know about! Spread the word for safety. JUST EAT AT...

I saw this place had good food reviews so I decided to go in for dinner and I was completely let down. Are you kidding me! Green beans from a can, instant mashed potatoes and a frozen fish filet. Food was obviously microwaved and scalding hot. Completely flavorless. It was worse than a frozen TV dinner from a neglectful retirement community! Seriously horrible. I tried to wash it down with "their version" of a Long Island Iced Tea, never seen one look like mud before, and when I told the server that my food was soo bad that I couldn't eat it, she said, " there's nothing I can do for you- I told my manager and he said that's the way it is". I'll definitely never be back. They need Bar Rescue bad!!

I headed to this location to see my brother who was playing acoustically. I didn't know what to expect it was a two-hour ride and I was happy to stop driving when I finally got there. What I encountered has me still smiling. A friendly bunch of patrons, friendly staff, and of course my brother's amazing music. The place is ample allowing social distancing. Make sure you eat there! Dinner was great. I had the steamed shrimp and service was equally great. Happy bunch of people at this local bar. I was welcomed. I will return!
