This is NOT a fast food restaurant. If you want your meal in under 10 minutes you will be disappointed; I highly recommend calling ahead. On to the review. I did not know the first sentence to be true before walking in so I ended up waiting 40 minutes for my 4 Bones Spicy (sauce on the side), Mac & cheese, cornbread, fries. Chef Bones was so nice to the walk in customers because obviously we didn't know about the wait time. He blessed me with a taste of his stores "Sweet Tea" and ALL of the waiting customers with a complimentary sample of the fresh fried fish he serves on Fridays (always whiting) and man was it GOOD! I wish I could give this restaurant more than 3 stars though. Things that led to my rating are: my order came back wrong (didn't know this until I got home). The sauce was not on the side as I ordered but rather slathered all over my Bones and it was too sweet for my taste. Having lived in the south you realize that GREAT ribs don't need sauce but it's rather a light compliment to the ribs and because the sauce was too sweet for my taste I literally ended up throwing 2 away. They were gigantic though so that was great a nice healthy portion. Also the ribs didn't have enough smoke on em. They tasted like they had been baked and then maybe put on a grill vs. smoked in a smoker. Nor were my ribs spicy as I ordered. The absolute best part of my meal was the cornbread (kinda small though) and my Mac & cheese. Also the online combos are not offered in the store. Maybe they will later but I looked online first but when I went to order they said it wasn't available. PLEASE don't let my review discourage you. This is a new business and I absolutely will be visiting them again. They just need to find there footing and get their sea legs. I think all new businesses go through this at some point. The customer service inside this establishment is what will make me come back again. I'm rooting hard for this place.

Introduction: This was me and my boyfriend's first time purchasing food here. My sister recommended getting the cheesesteaks. Welcome: We were told to call and order ahead due to how busy they are. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone to place my order was very friendly and made ordering a pleasure...thank you! When my boyfriend went into the store to pick up our order he said, "they were very nice" and had a since of humor. Experience: The workers there showed friendliness and professionalism both on the phone and onsite. Ambiance: It was crowded and it was fairly clean but it was a full house. Food: Our order was chef cheesesteak, greens (made with turkey), mac&cheese, corn bread, ribs (6), and brisket (spicy) sandwich. The cheesesteak was big and packed with meat. We cut it into four pieces and our portion was like having a half size for both of us. The taste was ok but did not live up to the hype. Some of the meat was hard to eat and it was kind of bland. The greens (portion size is small) were good but the leaves were large which made it a little harder to eat. I think it would be better if they cut it. The brisket sandwich was was good but again it would be easier to eat if it was sliced smaller but I loved the bun. The mac&cheese (portion size small) was not good. The cornbread was delicious. Price: The quantity was worth the price (excluding. the sides) but the quality (taste) was not. Will return: Yes, but only for specific selections. I would also like to taste their desserts. Stars: Three the food was mediocre in taste. We called shortly after they opened on a Saturday morning and they had no desserts, I didn't understand that. I was told the person that makes the desserts did not make them yet. At opening everything should be available unless it is discontinued or they do not have it. Tip: It is à la carte and that can become pricey.

Tenderbones was a great visit today. Me and the fam just had to try this. The reviews drill you in. The back roads at night are a bit creepy. But the location was nice & bright. I froze to death my entire wait. They hardly have seating, besides the long rectangular table in the corner that seats like a bar for 4. There lemonade & tea was beyond sweet. Too sweet for me. We had ribs, chicken, greens, mac and peach cobbler. The ribs were average to me. But I cant lie they were so tender. The macaroni & cheese was very tasty but full of nothing but cheese & no noodles. But the mac was still bomb! The greens were not so tasty. I was not a fan of the cornbread, very dry. Also the peach cobbler was nasty. Tasted ok but looks not appetizing. The peach cobbler was a big disappointment. It was no crust it was just a bunch of mush. We will try there fish on a Friday. The chicken tasted as if the grease was old. You can taste the old grease. Also it was multiple people in the kitchen just chilling. Very unprofessional. It was 11 degrees outside and 30 degrees in the restaurant. There was not a bathroom in sight. We traveled from Dover. We were not impressed but we are not pushed away. Looking forward to see what this jewel has in store.

Horrible experience! I have eaten from here several times before. No real issue in the past with the food. However, service and staff has always left much to be desired. I ordered via Doordash but when the driver had arrived the food was not ready. This was of no surprise, wait time is always long. I ordered a chicken tender basket that comes with fries, and a 4 bone with an extra side of fries. Who knows if they ran out or just didn't have ribs that day but my order which I was charged for in its entirety contained no order of ribs. Here you have this extended wait and all I received is the chicken tenders with fries and another side of fries which was INEDIBLE. Fries had to have been refried 2x and tasted of fish grease and the chicken tenders was overcooked. Initially, I called to just ensure that I would be credited for item not received but of course I spoke of the disappointment with the quality of the food. Spoke with Kevin as the owner was not present. I was told the owner was at the Dover location but Kevin promised my credit card would be refunded in its entirety. He thanked me for the call and letting him know about quality of the food. So I was pleased.

Several days later, I had to follow up with Kevin because the charge was no longer pending and had hit my cc. No refund was pending. I contacted the restaurant again, spoke with Kevin again who tells me the owner has to correct but he is at the Dover location... my thinking, you're opening up a new store and this one is falling to pieces hmmm. Again, okay I was patient and stated okay. Left my contact number. Nonetheless, it is going on 3 weeks and the charge is still there. No credit in sight...no returned call NOTHING. I called back today and the young lady says Kevin is busy...yeah busy stealing my money. This is not how we do business. I support you and this is how I am treated. Don't EAT FROM HERE THEY ARE...
