This is my first review I have ever written about ANYTHING but I am so annoyed.. guess it is time to say something.. FINALLY. I used to come to this Wawa every night after work as I pass it on my way home. However, I always question it. Most times I will drive out of my way to the Harvey Rd. Wawa or the other Wawa further down Phila. Pike towards Wilmington. I buy the SAME thing EVERY SINGLE TIME. A 16 oz. Hot Mocha Latte with EXTRA espresso & EXTRA Dark Chocolate syrup flavoring. So, tonight i go in order the latte go out to car... take a sip. No MOCHA flavor. ALL ESPRESSO & HOT MILK. i tell what i am assuming to be the manager, a older women with blonde hair tied back in a bun. Tonight shes on the register. SHE is usually the one that MAKES my lattes! A girl i have seen before made it instead. She had replaced some crackers for a older man who complained he had come in to buy soup for 2 or 3 weeks and there is NEVER any crackers. (And hes right. That saltine cracker basket had been empty for weeks!) So, manager tells me to order another one. I do. Throw the other out. SAME taste. SAME girl made it. She looked at the slip which SAYS EXTTTTTRRAAAA DARK CHOCOLATE & EXTRA ESPRESSO WHICH I PAY EXTRA FOR! She asks how is this one. I say the same. No flavor. Her answer was ,"Well, what has changed? The syrup tastes the same. The ingredients are the same. What is different?" Well, lady i TOLD you TWICE! Did you watch this employee MAKE BOTH cups? NO! if i come to wawa every night and its GOOD... then your answer is : RETRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES. Last week i came in and ordered a MOCHA LATTE and got a HOT CHOCOLATE! I did not say anything. If customers have to PAY EXTRA for EXTRA FLAVOR THEN GET IT RIGHT! READ THE STEP BY STEP RECEIPTS PRINTED OUT! It really is NOT...
Read moreThis is one of my least favorite Wawa's. They do make good food at times but sometimes it is done sloppily. It seems like they are always running out of something and cannot make your food. The parking is awful and really frustrating to get back out on the road -- I feel like it's a very easy spot to get into an accident if a driver is not paying enough attention. One thing that really bugs me though is every time I go in there a cashier is flirting with every single lady that goes through the check-out line. I believe his name is Sean. If it was friendly and not over-the-top, I wouldn't really care; but it's gotten to the point that I am uncomfortable when he is checking me out. Great customer service does NOT equal extremely flirtatious comments- especially when it's made clear you are not comfortable with it. Just wanted to put that out there- I have spoken to several people about this and they have noticed this man doing exactly what I am saying.
Update: Wrote a review 6 years ago about how I dislike this wawa. Decided to give them another chance today, and they did an awful job putting together this Turkey Club, which isn't even toasted, by the way... it would be one thing if they were BUSY, but I was the only one waiting for their food to be made. Maybe if they weren't too busy talking about how they got drunk over the weekend, they would have prepared my sandwich the way it should have been. Get better workers. This Wawa SUCKS and I'd give a lower star rating if possible because I'm PISSED I paid $7.99 for this garbage sandwich. 🗑 Last chance I'm giving because I am highly disappointed that even years later, they haven't improved, not even in the slightest. I'd honestly like my money...
Read moreDuring my regular visits to this store for purchases, I encountered an unpleasant situation today. A young lady was preparing food behind the deli in a rude manner. I ordered soup, and when I picked it up, I requested a soup bag from her. Instead of handing it to me, she placed it next to my soup and walked away. I was taken aback, as I had not experienced such discourtesy at this store in quite some time. I promptly brought the matter to Susan's attention, who addressed the issue and clarified that all soups should be placed in a bag. While Susan was speaking, the young lady continued to interject and made derogatory remarks, calling me names and questioning why I was still in the store. I responded by explaining that I was still shopping and suggested that she could clock out if she was unable to follow her manager's instructions. I believe Susan then instructed for her to be removed from the floor. After exchanging several more words, I decided to leave, feeling disappointed by the unprofessional service I...
